Filibuster Doesn't Fly at Georgia Town Hall

When Dem Rep Sanford Bishop tried to filibuster his way through a recent town hall meeting in Bainbridge, Georgia, the peasants revolted:

Here's how the local media covered it:

The money quote:

There's going to be an uprising in this country that's going to make the Boston Tea Party look like a picnic.

Good luck getting reelected in southwest Georgia, Rep Bishop.

I give credit to the Congressman for having the meeting and sticking it out for 4 hours against such vocal opposition. But apparantly his mind is already made up. He will be representing only a minority of his constituency. He is a socialist who needs to be given the pink skip in 2010.

All these "where were you" arguments are weak and tiresome, in the face of king zero's history-of-the-world deficits. Where were we? Supporting the liberation of Iraq, asshat.

An uprising? Yea, right! Middle-aged taxpayers are going to take to the barricades? Much as I'd love to participate. I'm too busy working and obey laws and paying taxes so the leftists can do that!

Posted by: BH at August 26, 2009 1:07 PM

JAMESJ is 1,000% correct! The "where were you" arguments mean absolutely NOTHING. Just like the "I inherited this mess" arguments mean nothing. What DOES mean something is that the Grand Wizard Poohbah of UNtruths and DECEPTION, OBAMA is the exact opposite of "transparency" and is hell-bent on exacerbating even the smallest of problems the Republicans may have been responsible for and turning them into monumental, freedom/liberty-gobbling monstrosities.
Bishop did NOT "want" to hear the concerns of his constituents - how laughable. There they are TELLING HIM their concerns and he's already made up his mind regardless. Dense!

If enough of us send a strong message to the INSANE Obama puppet members of Congress, they will abandon him like RATS from a sinking ship.

One way to do that is to take this initiative VIRAL and post this EVERYWHERE:

Pink slip post cards to print and mail.

You are a complete moron. Get your facts right before you spread your socialist ilk.

there will be NO uprising, there will be no revolution.

this is all manufactured dissent (that's how that's spelled BTW) and funded by people with political agendas and economic interests.

helathcare for all sounds like a wonderful idea, I don't see how you can "support the troops" and say "the Guv'ment caint run thangs!!!"

again, you people are weird.

what freedoms have you lost since Obama took office?
and who exactly was instrumental in the creation of the patriot act and the suspension of habeas corpus?
