Astroturfers? I'll Show You Astroturfers
The most salient trait of the left is hypocrisy. To paraphrase Ann Coulter, if you want to know what liberals are up to, just listen to what they're accusing you of. The preposterous charge that those who object to Obama's seizure of the healthcare industry are astroturfers sheds light on how blatantly progressives manufacture protest. If you have more time than you do principles, check out the many job listings for professional moonbat placard-wavers.
Nobody is going to pay you to protest against ObamaCare. But considering that patriots have vastly outnumbered leftist drones at Town Hall meetings lately, it looks like most people consider doing the right thing to be its own reward.

when they are being paid to show up? Like the manic insane guy with his wheelchair bound relative? Guy was asked to meet one on one with his congressman, but declined. He's not there to discuss anything, he's paid to make a scene.

If Obama's SEIU thugs hadn't put Ken Gladney in the hospital (and three of them went to jail by the way) in the first place, his attempt to "make a scene" would be outrageous.
The leftist nutlicker is acting like the wife-beater who claims his abused spouse is just trying to get attention by showing her black eye and broken arm in public.

57% of Americans oppose Government-run single-payer system Obama supports. I can see why the attacks and smears from the left are getting so shrill and dishonest.

It's not worthwhile to bother arguing over astroturfing.
The Reds are engaging in a classic tactic of theirs, trying to pick an argument over an inconsequential detail to bog their opponents down there, while distracting those opponents from addressing the broader picture.
So while their allegations are irritating and outrageous, they're intended to be. Ignore them, or even better, agree to them, and return to the main topic: fighting socialism in America.

It astonishes me that it has been completely forgotten that 48% of all voting Americans wanted nothing to do with Obambi, IN ANY WAY, and they showed their opinion in the election; yet he and his minions think winning 52% will grant them 100% freedom to do whatever they want. If he really has the balls to answer questions in NH, I suspect there will be many arrests and generally a wildly good time had by all. Wish I could be there. Join or Die.

i for one enjoy the left sending out their rent-a-mobs, on the one hand it saps resources from their backers, and on the other they are so transparently "turfing" that it undermines their arguments even more.

Eric, Pipes Concise History of the Russian Revolution - which I highly recommend - details how the Bolsheviks tried to make themselves appear to have broad support, when they were in fact a tiny minority. Even their name ("Maximalist", i.e., "majority") was a lie.

You aint' seen nothin' yet. Wait until the leftys impersonate conservatives at His "O"lliness' town hall in NH. You can bet no one but the hand picked will get in and all parts will be played by Obamabots, just like Kabuki Theater

Hey we need the Berkeley Organic Tree Girl to come to a town hall meeting on Obambicare.

The mutt will take one or two hostile questions, and allow a boo or two, he must in order to maintain ANY credibility! How can temperament change from a NAZI lynch mob when reps appear to a friendly sympathetic and supportive crowd for the mutt? Who'll believe it?
If Emanuel et al configure the so called 'town hall' in NH so there is no animosity and hostility, then it will look like a meeting of the central committee, everybody claps and smiles right on cue.
They'll preview the questions, plant their own people and limit the crowd size and the media will be in bed with them covering it as best it can be made for Obama.

Just Al, I am pretty sure What Kind of Questions Will be allowed at Dear Leader's townhall meeting.

Yeah Jay, kinda reminiscent of the "moral majority" term you all were so fond of a few years back,,,,Turns out you are neither moral nor the majority. HAAAAHAA
Keep whining, losers.

Ghost's understudy is but a pale imitation of the original, who in turn is but a pale imitation of a grownup.

The Reds reek of desperation (and patchouli, and BO, but that's nothing new). You have to wonder if the atmosphere in Allende's Presidential Palace was this redolent of panic.
"Oh, Jeez, now we've done it..."

Evil people always blame others for what they do.
Strangely enough (snicker) it's also a DemocRATic ploy.

I guess it's only grassroots if activists are paid $11 to $16 an hour.

As always PeanutCracker, you're incorrect.

What would be funny is for unemployed Patriots to spout off Liberal talking points in order to get hired in those "grassroots" activist and "Camp Counselor" jobs.
Infiltrate from within!

Just remember when Democrats attack Republicans for tactics it is because they are projecting what they would be doing if the shoe was on the other foot. Busing in protesters with cute preprinted signs has been a Democrat tactic for years. Never mind that the press can't find a single bus at these townhall meetings, except for the ones that bus in the union organizers, nor are there any preprinted signs to be seen. Just scream that they are organized protests loud enough and let the MSM echo chamber will repeat the message. It's not like the media will report the truth anyway.
