Why Healthcare Costs Keep Rising, and ObamaCare Would Make Them Rise Faster
One reason medical costs keep rising is the ongoing looting bonanza by slimy John Edwards-type trial lawyers. But an even greater problem is our rulers' refusal to stem the tide of illegal colonists from the Third World that is literally sweeping our country away. Some testimony from Carol Plato, the director of corporate business services for Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart, Florida:
Under ObamaCare, free medical care will be provided to anyone who walks across our unguarded border and demands it. A Republican attempt to restrict free care for illegals was shot down.
The cost of providing free medical care to the entire Third World is obviously unsustainable. It's supposed to be. We are witnessing an application of the Cloward-Piven strategy, which is well-known among community activist types like Obama. The idea is to overload the government with more expenses than it can possibly handle, resulting in the collapse of our economy — paving the way for communism.
If Obama is not stopped, we will soon be waiting in line all day for stale bread, just like they did in the first Soviet Union. Medical care? In the Soviet Union I, it usually consisted of a bottle of vodka to numb the pain. But of course, progressives disapprove of alcohol, and socialized medicine would provide an excellent excuse to ban it again (or tax it beyond the reach of normal Americans), this time on health grounds.
On a tip from glenwood183.

Which is exactly, why we don't hear about it from the media.

This is the problem with all leftist solutions for the social and economic problems we face. They are obsessed with being egalitarian and simply go too far.
They're going to insure everyone. They are the champions of the poor and downtrodden, so they'll demonstrate their leftist compassion by guaranteeing medical coverage. Well, the poor and uninsured in this country receive medical care now, through gov't programs already in place -- no one in America is refused medical service. The costs are picked up, in part, by increases in the premiums of the responsibly insured.
The obvious consequence of universal health care is an unavoidable and continuous lowering of the standard of care that all of us presently receive. That means that the poor and uninsured, who only the compassionate left care about, will now receive a lower standard of medical care than they currently get (for free).
Ironical, but explainable because the entire scheme is not about health or care at all. It's about power, control and money, and using the coercive power of the state to regulate lives and impose their enlightened vision of the perfect society. Stalin comes to mind.

People rarely, if ever, get turned away in today's society when it comes to medical care. With universal "health insurance" (yes, they've reworded it because their previous scheme failed to suck everyone in), the currently uninsured will just have a card to go with their ailes. This "plan" will provide this "insurance" to everyone and, inevitably, raise costs across the board (for everyone) and also will, in turn, systematically lower quality care. The ironic part about it is that these people who currently get healthcare for free will end up paying more FOR LESS, as will those who currently have healthcare insurance. It's a lose-lose situation that only absolute retards don't understand.
Liberal logic defies all sensible logic.

The left loves this kind of exposure - it makes them look exactly like what they are NOT. "The Party of Compassion", when all they are doing is buying votes, they don't care if they are citizens or not, look at THEIR president.

The solution to our woes just became so clear to me. Treat only the "legals" instead of illegals then we will see a drop in our health care insurance coverage. I would also like to state, "DUH"!!!!

How about someone in the public forum asking these questions. If this health bill passes, can all of us 65 and older quit paying $100 a month for part B medicare? How about part D? Same with private supplements like Health First?
I think we are talking about a lot of revenue Medicare would have to surrender if we old folks can opt out of these programs.
