Waking Up
Posted by Dave Blount at July 24, 2009 10:22 AM
Let's get the weekend off to the right start with a little good news. Despite the relentless barrage of propaganda from the liberal establishment media that got him into power, people are waking up regarding our Community Activist in Chief.
At the height of the hype in January, the Moonbat Messiah's approval index (strongly approve minus strongly disapprove) was +30. Now look at it:

You'll note that after only 6 months in office, Comrade Obama's approval index stands at -8. Total approval/disapproval, which lags because it includes people less likely to follow politics closely, has him already in the negative, 49%/51%.
Good thing for our "post-racial" president that he gets 97% approval from blacks. But even that might not last:
While most African-American voters (56%) still say the country is heading in the right direction, that's down seven points over the past week. Only 28% of white voters agree, showing no change from the previous survey. A quarter (25%) of all other voters says the country is headed in the right direction this week, down three points.
Sorry, media. You can fool some of the people some of the time, but it takes a special kind of arrogance to feed them a cow patty and tell them it's prime rib. Not too many will be asking for seconds.
As this whole farce comes unraveled, some in the media will go down with the Titanic, in the belief that The Anointed One is too big to fail. Others, in an attempt to salvage some credibility, will climb aboard the lifeboats by reporting objectively for a change. That's when BHO's numbers will go into a tailspin.
