If we moved all the illegals into CA, and then let them have it back it would:
1. Solve OUR problem with California going broke.
2. Remove Ah-nold.
3. Get all the illegals OUT of our country.
4. Let hollywood learn what it's like to live under some other law than US.
5. Teach them that a 3rd world hell hole is no place to live.

Those reconquistas are some seriously stupid people. They have enough initiative to come up here from mexico, but then want to take over the territories ceded under Guadalupe-Hidalgo. Unfortunately, they are unable to create a society that is any greater than Mexico. If they were, Mexico itself wouldn't be such a shithole and they wouldn't be leaving.

Aztlan would either be a northern province of Mexico itself, or independent but completely indistinguishable from Mexico. They think the prosperity comes with the territory, but it takes much more than that, and they don't have the capability to recognize that.

That's why the Spanish were never up in the midwest, yet the midwest absolutely shamed them as far as the creation of wealth.

To establish a Presidential commission to determine and evaluate the validity of certain land claims arising out of the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo of 1848 involving the descendants of persons who were Mexican citizens at the time of the Treaty.

" 2/11/2009--Introduced. Guadalupe-Hidalgo Treaty Land Claims Act of 2009 - Establishes the Guadalupe-Hidalgo Treaty Land Claims Commission to determine the validity of land claims arising out of the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo of 1848.
Authorizes three or more eligible descendants of the same community land grant to petition the Commission on behalf of themselves and all other descendants. Directs the Commission to recommend appropriate relief to a valid petition, including whether the community land grant should be reconstituted and its non-federal lands restored.
Directs the Commission to establish a Community Land Grant Study Center at the Onate Center in Alcalde, New Mexico, to assist the Commission with necessary research and investigations.

If they were to ever "take back" the Southwest, I'd recommend a scorched earth policy by which we destroy all of our infrastructure, crops, businesses, etc. Then we'd see how long those fools could sustain themselves before begging the rest of America for aid or illegally immigrating further to the east or north across the newly established border.

I got a better idea. Let's just go down there and kick their asses and make them a colony of the USA. After 50 years the place would operate much better than it does now and the Mexicans' standard of living would greatly improve.

I'm not that familiar with the history here, so there is something puzzling me about this. Aren't the Mexicans of Spanish descent, and if so aren't they just demanding return of land that they conquered themselves? I honestly don't understand this claim that the southwest was stolen from them, or do they consider themselves Natives?

I've decided that I'm starting the New American South movement. It's my contention that Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Chihuahua, Nuevo Leon, Sinaloa, Veracruz and Tamaulipas legitimately belong to the United States of America. Unfortunately, the Spaniards and Mexicans were not aware of our ownership of the land when they inhabited the area, regardless of the existence of the US as a country at the time. We retroactively claim ownership.

I would love to see what would really happen if La Raza and Aztlan got their land. Personally I would make a reality show out of it and see how long it would last. No scripts, no funding, no nothing, just a million cameras around to see what would happen. Who really knows what might happen. Unfortunately the odds are against them, but it would be nice to see what radical free thinking modern revolutionaries could come up with if they were just givin a chance. In the end will we have learned something? Sure why not, but please don't make the same mistakes twice then beg for another do over. They really better know what they are doing or at least stick to concerts and festivals nothing wrong with that.
