President Pantywaist Throws the First Pitch

His obsequious toadies in the media can slobber all they want about the sun glinting off his "chiseled pectorals," but it doesn't change the reality that like so many of his supporters, Comrade Obama is an effete weenie. We've seen him attempt to play golf. Here he is throwing out the first pitch at the All-Star Game yesterday (after receiving more than a few boos):

The lameness of his girlish attempt to throw the ball all the way to the plate is even more apparent at MLB.com. By way of contrast, here's W at the 2001 World Series (right after 9/11, when it took guts for him to appear in public):

Hat tip: The Conservative Dominion. On a tip from V the K.

Hey, this is what we get for electing a freakin' adjunct college professor to be President.

I'd love to see that metrosexual try to play hockey or football.

All American Men are pussified/feminized wimps. Both American Men & American Women make me sick. Feminist idiots.

Posted by: Anonymous at July 15, 2009 9:06 AM

Maybe he's actually right handed. That's what a normal man looks like when he tries to throw with the wrong hand.

Posted by: forest at July 15, 2009 9:10 AM

That might make a little sense, anon, IF TOTUS was American.

Posted by: Eric at July 15, 2009 9:22 AM

I'm guessing Indonesians don't play baseball. Am I right?

Posted by: Jay Guevara at July 15, 2009 9:31 AM

GWB threw a great pitch with no windup. It was just a little above the strike zone.

BHO, windup and all, couldn't even get it to home plate.

Posted by: Alan at July 15, 2009 9:33 AM

Alan,

Yep, that "wind-up" was something. It didn't appear to be integral to the throw. Maybehe was just posturing to create the impression that he knew what he was doing.

Posted by: forest at July 15, 2009 9:50 AM

I can see Ahmadinejad breaking this out and laughing if Obama ever tries to get tough with Iran.

Posted by: LoneWolfArcher at July 15, 2009 9:59 AM

Saw the Reuters video this morning that shows where this pitch landed. Had the catcher not moved up into the affirmative action position, hovering over the plate, then it would have landed short and in the dirt.

Posted by: IOpian at July 15, 2009 10:00 AM

I watched the game--well, most of it anyway. I turned the channel to FSN and watched the Hooters pageant during the segments when BHO was in the box, razzle-dazzling the announcers. How shameless can they be?

Posted by: Reasonable Guy at July 15, 2009 10:05 AM

The wife and I saw this on the news last night. First thing she said, "He throws like a girl!"

Tool.

Posted by: Henry at July 15, 2009 10:07 AM

correction, i believe right after 9/11 his approval rating was around 85%. it wasn't until the liberals smeared him for afghanistan and iraq that it plummeted

Posted by: Joe Nen at July 15, 2009 10:24 AM

Give it a rest.
Its obvious that BO's just trying to avoid an outside spas pitch to the third base coach.

Some of you sound like you've never seen a girl pitch before.

Posted by: Fiberal at July 15, 2009 10:43 AM

Nothing to correct; his approval was high, but we had just been attacked by some sneaky people that might have tried something.

Dyno-mite!

Posted by: Anonymous at July 15, 2009 10:46 AM

Why is it the video of obamofruit doesn't show the catcher. I think every video I've ever seen of a pres throwing out the first pitch, they show the pitch AND the catch. Our asshole media is covering for him again.

Remember how the useless tools on the left used to refer to clinton as the first black president? Now we have the first woman president!

Posted by: Anonymous at July 15, 2009 11:18 AM

ROTFLMAO!! What a FAG! OR should I say "Typical" leftist.

In related news, BO says he loved the old "Cominsky" Park.

My favorite part of this is the driver of the golf cart. His body language and facial expression is priceless, total and complete disgust.
He grimly nods when Hussein shakes his hand but still grudgingly does it. "I will show a modicum of respect for you since you hold the office but I HATE everything you stand for and everything you are doing to this country."
He deserves an award - people who dislike The One are not shown and are not seen.

Posted by: Brick the Fish at July 15, 2009 1:31 PM

I wonder if his grandma taught him how to throw a ball.

Posted by: Judith M. at July 15, 2009 1:53 PM

Even tho GW helped pave the way for the royal screwing were getting, that was a hell sight better pitch than his successor.
Now, on to more important things....

Posted by: JoeShmoe at July 15, 2009 1:56 PM

Two things:
What a change in Bush. How haggard he looked when he left, compared with the healthy face and body language then. If you take your job seriously it is a gruelling position in the White House.
Second. That applause for him sounded like there was a lot of support for BO. As an outsider from Australia, is it like that no matter who throws the first pitch.

The Reuters video link is below. The catcher was first baseman Pujols and he straddled home plate but still had to scoop up Obama's lame pitch out of the dirt. My ten year old son throws better and could have reached home, note the three finger hold on the ball. The media shot the pitch but most never showed the catch and then edited their commentary to cover up for the wimp. According to Reuters this was all planned ahead of time after the WH had Obama practice in the Rose Garden the night before and determined he couldn't reach home. Combined this with the Obama trip, terrible golf swing, censored basketball games and bumping his head on the Air Force One Helicopter a few months back any Republican president who was so uncoordinated would be mocked nonstop by the MSM today.

Apparently he didn't play much baseball growing up. Well I can pitch better than that, and not only I am not especially athletic but I'm British, so I didn't play any baseball!

Maybe he meant to say "Alinsky" park. lol

Posted by: Atomic Lib Smasher at July 15, 2009 8:44 PM

Even NBC noticed how bad his pitch was.

"Wearing a Chicago White Sox training jacket and some ill-fitting Levi's, Obama jogged out to the plate in St. Louis with a wide grin and wound up for the highly anticipated throw."

"The pitch wasn't fast, but it hit the glove of crouching First Baseman Albert Pujols -- who kindly scooped the ball before it made contact with the dirt without clearing home plate."

Brick the Fish, you're right, that golf cart driver is NO FAN.
Not only does he throw like a girl, his jeans are dorky and they were making fun of him for it on the news this morning.

Over at conservativecave, they're saying that the TV tried to mask the boos, but that on radio, you can hear it in all its glory.

Posted by: Karin at July 16, 2009 6:20 AM

Obama gets booed at all star game? Wow loks like the magic has worn off And just imagine if it were BUSH or someone from the GOP the birdcage linners would have it on their front pages

Posted by: SPURWING PLOVER at July 16, 2009 7:41 AM

No one has mentioned it I think. Notice how B.O. is in an awful hurry to get this overwith. He jogs to the mound. He jogs to the catcher. He'd jog off the field if he could.

President Bush walked there, took his time, and delivered a strike. I think Joe Torre was looking to hire him.

Posted by: Pete at July 16, 2009 11:58 AM

Obama is a weak ass liberal.

Bush threw a good pitch. Notice the curve into the strike zone.
