Poll Watch

Posted by Dave Blount at July 27, 2009 8:24 AM

Lately keeping an eye on the polls is a guilty pleasure. It makes me feel like a vulture watching a lost hiker stagger through the desert under a blistering sun. But I can't help indulging. After dipping even lower over the weekend, Comrade Obama's approval index is currently -10 per Rasmussen:

Chairman Zero's numbers don't look quite as bad if you believe a poll done over a week ago by his enthusiastic enablers at the Washington Post. Yet even there we see this:

Conservatives now beat liberals by a nearly 2:1 margin, and we're only beginning to feel the disastrous effects of putting a Marxist in charge of the government. Obama will do for the conservative movement what he's already done for gun sales and Rush Limbaugh's audience.

Maybe they picked the wrong country to try to impose socialism on. It's still only a distant rumble, but you can hear the backlash approaching.

On tips from J, Bill, BURNING HOT, mega, Jay Guevara, and nancz.
