Good one V the K. We'll be seeing more like this. Who wants to bring on full time employees based on a temporary dose of money? The only permanent jobs created by this boondoggle will be government jobs in new programs - which will need to be funded over the long term costing the State and Federal government even more money over and above the porkulus.

90% of the Stimulus money doled out so far has been for Medicaid and the State Stabilization Fund. In other words, the Stimulus bails out the public employee unions, who in turn donate campaign cash to the Democrat Party.
Put simply, the Stimulus is a money laundering operation to borrow money, launder it through the unions (and ACORN) and put it in the coffers of the Democrat Party.

Speaking of job creation, here in central Illinois, they are talking about building a high-speed rail route from Chicago to St. Louis. In the feasibility study, they declared that this line would create 170,000 permanent jobs, I kid you not! That's 567 people for every mile of track, for fuck's sake. What will all of these people be doing?
Oh, and this doesn't include the supposed 60,000 construction jobs that will be created to build the line.
