MSNBC Wants Glenn Beck Fired

Glenn Beck has been touching some nerves. The leftist freaks at MSNBC, not content to denounce him as a racist, are screeching that he must be fired for noticing that their Moonbat Messiah really is a racist. From First Read:

What's most amazing about this episode is that what Beck said isn't a fireable or even a SUSPENDABLE offense by his bosses. There was a time when outrageous rants like this would actually cost the ranters their jobs.

This from the outfit that employs Keith Olbermann, a talking cockroach who told the moonbat fools who lap up his lies that Pat Tillman was executed for having liberal political views.

Glenn Beck, the former druggie/drunk, should be let go because he is clearly under mental duress. This whining, winging, sobbing crank is so obviously losing his grip.

Now that Michael Jackson is dead, there is no other public figure so clearly mentally unbalanced, and so willing to let us watch the deterioration.

Mark my words, Beck WILL end up institutionalized. It may be next week, it may in be in ten/twenty years, but he WILL have to be cared for.

Considering that PMSNBC is tanking in ratings, is it any wonder that Olberdork is trying to gin-up some buzz by making outragous demands in the public forum in a vain attempt to keep his job?

Not much different than the over-the-top ranting and melodrama that Beck uses to keep his viewers entertained.

Posted by: Dave at July 31, 2009 1:35 PM

It's true that Beck comes across like Jeremiah Wright. But when you read transcripts the resemblance ends. He presents facts.
The facts he presented recently included direct quotes from the Health Bill which detailed how the Government would have teams of experts to visit parents to teach them parenting skills. Before that there was the direct read of the section providing for everybody over 65 to receive advice on killing themselves to help balance the budget. I would not have known these things otherwise. Stick to it, Glen.

Oh Goody... a new ball of communist string for me to chew apart!

Glenn Beck, the former druggie/drunk

President Odumbo, Cocaine addict, know liar and racist.

should be let go because he is clearly under mental duress.

Should be impeached because he CLEARLY is attempting to bankrupt the nation and most of his "friends" are racists, terrorists, or morons.

This whining, winging, sobbing crank is so obviously losing his grip.

Considering how often Odumbo blames EVERYONE else for his own stupidity and lies while he discovers interesting new ways to insult allies with mediocre gifts or snubs it's apparent who the real baby that whines is.

Now that Michael Jackson is dead,

Now that the state run media has killed itself by being so dishonest and utterly failed at doing it's job,

there is no other public figure so clearly mentally unbalanced,

There are far to many public figures like Pelosi, Reid, and Biden who are clearly challenged mentally by even the slightest inteligent thought,

and so willing to let us watch the deterioration.

who seem to revel in their own stupidity just like the false prophet Odumbo as their popularity and progress to destry the country crumbles to dust.

Mark my words

Why that's easy... Replaying your idiocy for eternity will be fun!!

Beck WILL end up institutionalized.

Odumbo will end up imprisoned just like all of his idols and metors such as Stalin, Pol Pot. Mao, Lenin, Hitler, etc.

It may be next week,

America can only HOPE it's that quick

it may in be in ten/twenty years,

Sadly that is more likely but at least Obumbo will be in prison where he belongs.

but he WILL have to be cared for.

But at the very least we will be rid of the idiot in chief who attempted to ruin the greatest country on earth!!

Just a few slight edits to help wingnutcracker get a firm grip on reality since as a communist sympathiser he aparently isn't very familiar with the real world.

We want blowhards like him to keep running their mouths!

He is helping defeat his own cause. Don't despise him, embrace his incoherent message of the socialist left and use it against him and his ilk.

Just me but the bottom line to not too left and not too right viewers like myself who can enjoy Rachel Maddow as much as Anne Coulter, is this. The bottom line is Glenn Beck was beyond disrespectful and ridiculous. Repeatedly referring to the President as "this guy here and this guy there" I mean really folks what is that? This is our President, the President of the Unites States who lately can't seem to blink without being hung out to dry, or at least attempted to. Glenn Beck is a pompous detached windbag whose made a career out of situations like this and as a proud, young, open minded, non Black and non White, American. I say enough is enough of this horse sh**. Seriously enough already/ And Michelle Malkin whatever, calling the President a racial opportunist?? That's too obvious to even comment on, what's obvious truly is the price these people are paying to position themselves on the face of things, is far too high. The price they are willing to pay is much too high. Good luck to them.

Posted by: wingnutcracker at August 1, 2009 12:15 AM

Yes, he is half-white, but, he chose to tailor his whole persona after his African side. Didn't you read "Dreams of My Father"? Clearly, no. Read the book and come back here and defend your position. We'll be waiting for you, and that's a promise.

Posted by: KT at August 1, 2009 1:04 AM

Does Obama write that he hates all white people, including his Mom? Because that's what Beck insinuates.

Look, Beck is a completely uneducated hack. He's a former drug addict and alcoholic. He actually converted to Mormonism! The guy openly cries, sobs and whines like a blubbering spoiled like toddler on national television. He makes completely outrageous, unfounded statements that are barely coherent or intelligible. His conclusions are absurd and wholly unconsidered. He is clearly an unstable individual. Anyone can see that. Beck has absolutely no special insight or understanding of American history and/or politics. He's just a guy of the street, put in a suit and propped in front of a camera. I swear he's drunk half the time.

Posted by: KT at August 1, 2009 1:24 AM

I'm sure some of the people who watch him enjoy watching a train wreck as well...so what?

Posted by: Anonymous at August 1, 2009 1:41 AM

The fact that people watch him and that he is increasing his viewership is proof that his positions are intriguing/provacative/thought provoking. Keep dismissing him at your own peril. That is an expected lefty tactic. But, what about my challenge...Have you read Dreams of my Father? Can you answer my original challenge? Just to let you know, you don't get to reframe the argument!

Posted by: KT at August 1, 2009 1:52 AM

No i haven't read the book KT. Do you think i could get it and read it in the short time between posts here? I'm actually not that interestedin reading it. Does Obama say he hates his mother and all other white people in it. Why don't you just quote the passage that you find so offensive and racist?

the majority of Americans voted for Obama, that must mean, according to your "logic" that his positions are intriguing, provocative, and thought provoking. (Although all three of those words mean basically the same thing!) why won't you afford him the corresponding respect. I should believe Beck because lots of people watch his TV show, is that it?

Posted by: wingnutcracker at August 1, 2009 2:05 AM

Well, you did prove that you hadn't read the book by your woeful ignorance. It is interesting that you use the evidence that a majority of Americans voted for him...Can't the same standard be applied to Beck...Yet Beck's ratings are soaring and Obama's are tanking. You really should read the book to know from where Beck's opinion orginates. Heck, you might actually learn something. I suspect, you will be surprised and will have buyer's remorse for what you have done to your country.

and people wonder why we call moonbats morons, they don't even KNOW what they babble about, and are willfully persistent in their ignorance, "dreams" was just one long racist screed written by a street agitator after the mold of a sharpton or jackson. just to patronize our trolls i did a 2 second google search for some "dreams" money quotes, suprisingly it wasn't hard and required less effort than posting multiple absurdities on this site, from factcheck.org:
From Dreams of My Father: "I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites."

From Dreams of My Father : "I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race."

From Dreams of My Father : "There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white."

From Dreams of My Father : ; "It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names."

From Dreams of My Father : "I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, Dubois and Mandela."

a comparable list of beck's misguided writings/speech couldn't be found, only his accurate representation of our race-monger in chief.

Posted by: weewilly at August 1, 2009 4:46 AM

yeah, I see your point a half black man inspired by the works of guys like King, Mandela,Malcolm X, Dubois and Mandela, must be a racist.

but seriously, even if Beck's ratings are going up and Obama's approval ratings are dropping. Obama is about a million times more popular than Beck. How many people watch Beck, and how many voted for Obama? Do you think that if Beck ran for office he could inspire anyone with his nonsense? Do you think that if Beck didn't have his job at Fox he would be capable or qualified to do ANYTHING at all? Do you think Beck can do anything but cry and sob like a little baby boy who didn't get the Christamas present he wanted?

And Judith, not one is attempting to silence a "dissenting" voice, if you can even give Beck that much credit. No, we are just calling bullshit when we see it. He can say what he wants. But when he makes an ass of himself, as he does every single day, others have a right to point that out.

Posted by: wingnutcracker at August 1, 2009 5:09 AM

Well, Wingnut, some of those quotes from Dreams of My Father ARE pretty racist (e.g., I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race), so I can see where Beck might get the idea that Obama is a racist if he puts that background information together with Obama jumping to conclusions about who was "acting stupidly" during a routine police call. Of course, there's always a possibility that Obama didn't write those lines, so maybe it's just his ghost writer who's a racist.

Posted by: Judith M. at August 1, 2009 6:42 AM

"White man's greed runs a world in need."

Yeah, I don't know where people would get the idea that someone who spouts that kind of talk might be a racist.

Sure, Beck goes a little overboard now and then, but he mostly informs while be entertaining at the same time. The left complains he is a former drunk and drug addict while at the same time advocating legalization of drugs. Talk about schizophrenic thinking.

The real reason guys like Beck, Rush and OReilly are hated so much is that they are resonating with public. And when they do say something that is later proven untrue, they come on screen and admit. Would Olberman ever do such a thing? Nope.

Posted by: AmericanToTheCore at August 1, 2009 10:36 AM

So he was a drug addict. He cleaned himself up and has become a huge success.

The problem with liberals is that they, instead of cleaning up their act, are on a hell-bent path to augment the law in such a way to reflect their poor decisions which, in turn, makes their current acts legal. There is no doubt that they have a complete and utter contempt for the law so they seek to legalize their actions as opposed to respecting the current system.

This is their way of, essentially, legalizing stupidity in such a way that argues, "those who act intelligently are law-breakers."

Do you think that if Beck didn't have his job at Fox he would be capable or qualified to do ANYTHING at all?

While Beck entered the media world as a DJ at the tender age of 13, everything changed when he found a new vision of his career – talk radio.

In 2002, he launched The Glenn Beck Program on just 47 stations with the mission to make listeners "feel goodness from my show and accept me for who I am, flaws and all." Nothing has been the same since

Today, just a few years later, his radio show can be heard across the country on over 350 stations, his television show sets ratings records, his books reach the top of bestseller lists and he travels across the country performing his live stage show to sold-out audiences. Across all of these mediums, Beck connects with his fans in a whole new way, inspiring and entertaining them with his humor, hard-hitting interviews and honest tales about his life.

Beck's radio show, The Glenn Beck Program, is syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks and is the third highest-rated national radio talk show among adults ages 25 to 54. Beck was the recipient of the 2008 Marconi Award for Network/Syndicated Personality of the Year from the National Association of Broadcasters.

Beck's self-titled topical talk show on the FOX News Channel debuted on January 19th, 2009 to over 2.4 million viewers. This incredible launch built off the success of Beck's nightly TV show on CNN Headline News, which he hosted from 2006-2008. During those two years, the show grew by more than 200% in viewership in both the 7pm and 9pm timeslots.

Beck is the author of three New York Times Bestsellers. When his most recent book, The Christmas Sweater, debuted at #1 on the fiction list, Beck became one of a handful of authors to write books that reached #1 on both the fiction and non-fiction NYT lists. His previous title, An Inconvenient Book, was a #1 non-fiction bestseller and went through a remarkable nine printings.

Twice a year, Beck travels across the country on a live stage tour and has attracted over 100,000 fans in nearly 40 different markets. His web site, GlennBeck.com, receives millions of visitors a month.

Beck began his career in radio at the age of 13 in Seattle, and grew up in nearby Mount Vernon. After graduating high school, Beck landed jobs as a Top 40 DJ at stations across the country, from Baltimore and Houston, to Phoenix and New Haven, CT.

But at the age of 30, Beck lost his passion for radio - and everything else - as he was consumed by alcoholism and drug addiction. Coming to terms with his past and staying sober shifted his life direction. He found new love (his second wife, Tania) and religion (he was baptized Mormon) and decided he would pursue a career in talk radio.

Soon after, Beck received a call from an agent interested in representing him. Days later, he had an offer to host his own talk radio show on WFLA-AM in Tampa, Florida. Beck inherited the 18th placed position at WFLA-AM and took it to the #1 position in his first year, giving the station its highest ratings ever.

Within 18 months, Premiere Radio Networks, the leading radio syndication company in the country, offered Glenn the opportunity to go national. In January 2002, The Glenn Beck Program debuted on 47 stations. Only a few years later, the show is now heard on over 350 stations and on XM satellite Radio.

Beck's production company, Mercury Radio Arts, produces or co-produces his radio, TV, live events, publishing and digital media projects. Founded in 2002, Mercury has a full time staff of 20 employees and is based in New York, NY.

Glenn is married with four kids and resides in Connecticut.

If you could have ever mustered up the stomach to listen to that array of lefty douchebags on Air America, you would find that they spend a good share of their time on air talking about their counterparts on talk radio on the right. Every time I stopped on that station, they were either talking about Limbaugh or O'Reilly. Not understanding that giving the other side constant free publicity is one of the many things that made Air America the really stellar commercial success that it has been....LOL.

The people at PMSNBC are cut from the same cloth. It's not surprising they would spend their time doing the same thing.....and coincidentally, I'm sure, they have come to emulate Air America in having some of the lowest possible ratings in cable tv.
