Moonbats Sue West Point

Yet another example of moonbats showing their respect for the military:

As the last strains of "The Star-Spangled Banner" faded before the annual Army-Navy basketball game at West Point, Nick Mottern took off his jacket and revealed his T-shirt. It bore the letter "Q." His seven friends standing alongside him in the next-to-last row of the Holleder Center took off their jackets and shirts, uncovering their T-shirts.
They stood silently, each wearing a shirt emblazoned with lettering that when put together spelled out "U.S. Out of Iraq."

After refusing to cover the shirts, they were escorted out, yelling fifth column slogans as they left. They were banned from West Point for 5 years.

This sordid incident occurred in 2004, before moonbats of this caliber and ideology had taken total control of the government. Now, they're suing West Point for interrupting their attempts to make a mockery of the institution.

Our military is like a large dog owned by a family with bratty kids that pull its tail at every opportunity. It's a wonder the little punks never get bit.

On a tip from Wiggins.

Much as I hate to admit it, they may have a case here. West Point is a government institution, and as such removing people for expressing an opinion they don't like is a violation of the moonbats' first-amendment rights. I don't much care for their attitudes or position, but they do have the right to express their opinion without government retribution.

The moonbats should be happy that they were removed.

I know a cadet or two that would like nothing better than to turn a moonbat's face into ground meat. They should applaud their good fortune on being able to escape in one piece.

Coder, you can't disagree with VH. All of us on the right are supposed to always agree with each other and be in lockstep with whatever Rush Limbaugh tells us to believe; didn't you get the memo? (LOL)

West Point is also a military installation, and entry onto a military installation amounts to consent to abide by the rules of the post. "No demonstrations" means No Demonstrations.

Punks.

Plus it stood a damn good chance of setting up a "disturbance" at the very least.

When on military grounds you are subject to search at any time and you forfeit many rights. Maybe at Syracuse they have a case, but not at West Point. Unless of course, the plaintiffs are Hispanic and the judge is Sotomayor

MoogieP, you should know that following rules doesn't apply to leftists / moonbats / Democrats. Rules are for fools.

Gawd, I love being a fool.

DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS MOONBATS STINK

Did you catch this bit during yesterday's questioning of Sonja Sotomayor? Senator Patrick Leahy, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee (may God have mercy on us) intentionally misquoted Sotomayor during his opening comments. Leahy said: "You said that, quote, you 'would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would reach wise decisions.'"

Sorry, Senator. That's not quite accurate. What Sotomayor actually said was: "I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life."

Leaky Leahy

Did anyone expect honesty from the DemocRATS!?

They'll have their day in court, all standing around spelling out something stupid, like:
"Of Our I Squat", or
"Our Sofa Quit", or
"A Roof Quit Us", or
"Quota If Sour", or maybe
"Our Oafs Quit".

In Australia, there is a Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Every year there is a memorial service there at dawn.
For a few years a group of women trashed the site on that day and wore black torn clothes to protest about women raped in war.
They were prosecuted and found guilty because the generally recognised right of free speech came up against other laws.
Similarly in the US a man yelled "Fire" in a crowded theatre and claimed right of free speech. He went down as well because the right of free speech is subject to other laws.
If, as is said, entrance to West Point is subect to conditions, and those conditions directly or impliedly forbid demonstrations then the free speech will not get up any more than kids saying prayers in school gets up under free speech.
Unless another Sotomayer is appointed later.

ATTNETION MOONBATS!
It is the US CONGRESS that decides if war is to be fought, the US military carries out those orders by WAGING war. To protest a war by harrasing solders, sailors, marines and airmen is like yelling at a smoker for cigarette advertiseing that "targets children".

But I'll bet your kind has done that too.

(I thought I submitted this comment last night, but I guess not...)

Oh yeah, there's that memo. It was under that stack of TPS reports on my desk (which looks like a paper factory exploded nearby; hooray for the paperless office!).

I do like how, when conservatives and/or Republicans disagree with each other it represents "discord" and "the fracturing of the once-proud GOP into warring factions", but when the Left does the same it is "nuanced discussion." And if we all did agree on something, we're all just sheep, parroting (to mix my animal metaphors) the party talking points.

Too bad they didn't just turn them over to the cadets. I would have paid money to see that.

Just as bad as those jerks from GREENPEACE suing the U.S. NAVY claiming that sonar was messing up the whales and making them beach themselves MOONBATS DESERVE TO BE SENT TO THE SPICEMINES OF KESSEL,ELBA II or THE DEVILS ASTEROID
