Lansing, Michigan

No place knows the consequences of moonbattery like Michigan, where liberal rule has turned a prosperous state into an economic sinkhole. A couple thousand Tea Partiers turned out at the capital yesterday:

Has anyone notice that there really aren't any college kids attending these tea parties?

That's because they're brain washed liberal losers I suppose.

if this had been a democrat rally MSM would be referring to it as the 1,000,000 man rally.......

I am a recent college graduate. Sadly, I was among the FEW conservatives in the crowd. It was a constant stuggle to stay sane when the stupidity of the libtards was at an all-time high.

The education system has gone to the way-side and brainwashes the weak (libtards).

I hope there are others who have stayed strong and rejected stupidity.

Piss off moonbats!

Dave, AmericanToTheCore,

I'm one with Mark Steyn in saying the essential knowledge and skill set needed today can be compressed into high school, and all the rest is deadweight. (See America Alone, p. 191.)

Core, congrats on your recent graduation. I applaud you for knowing what's right and resisting the brainwashing koolaid. Colleges are truly dreadful places these days.

Don't worry, Dave, and others concerned about the next generation being nothing but libtards.

I homeschooled my kids who are now 20 and 22. The oldest works two full time jobs and the youngest works about 50 hours a week. Both kids educated themselves about those who were running for president last year.

I don't watch the news or much tv. My oldest began flipping through all the cable news stations on his own, to get info on the candidates. He eventually settled on FoxNews as his favorite.

He listened to as many of the campaign speeches as he could fit into his schedule, and observed that "Obama sure talks a lot but he never says anything".

My youngest decided to use the internet as her source. She visited the candidates websites, the party websites, and also read comments from citizens regarding their opinions on the candidates.

Independently, all four of us, (husband, son, daughter, and me) decided to vote Constitution Party for president, and Republican for just about every other office.

But, once we saw Hussein leading the pack, we changed our minds, again independently, and voted against the communist foreigner by voting for the McCain/Palin ticket.

So, it's not that my college age kids don't want to be at these TEA parties, they're just very busy, hard working Americans, who can't take time off to protest. But, if the Revolution comes, they are trained and ready to take up arms for liberty.

And don't forget, a lot of college age kids can't be at these rallies because they are American soldiers, stationed on the other side of the world, fighting for freedom!
