Jim Inhofe: Cap and Tax Is Dead, Despite Clown
Our current government is so historically awful that it's tempting to fantasize about tarring, feathering, and running each and every member of Congress out of the District of Criminals on a rail. But there are few who don't deserve it. A prime example is Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK), who has been denouncing global warming as a hoax since the days when only a few had the guts to raise doubts in the face of the establishment's thuggish "consensus."
Here's what he has to say about the Tax and Charade suicide pact that the hard left got through the House — and about the obnoxious second-rate comedian who was allowed to ACORN his way into the Senate:
Inhofe said the much-anticipated conclusion of a Senate race in Minnesota that will give Democrats the 60 votes needed to overcome Republican filibusters would not be enough to save the climate change bill.
"I'll tell you what a lot of people are thinking, and that is it looks like things are going to be over and we are going to get the clown from Minnesota,'' he said.
"They are not going to get more than 35 votes.''
Asked if he was referring to Al Franken as the clown from Minnesota, Inhofe confirmed he was.
"I didn't mean to be disrespectful. I don't know the guy, but … for a living he is a clown,'' the senator said.
"That's what he does for a living.''
No doubt that's what he will continue to do for a living for the next six years, until Minnesotans have a chance to dislodge him from office.
How refreshing to hear a politician call a clown a clown. With enough countermoonbats like Inhofe, we could get this country back on track in no time.

Anyone who has ever seen a movie knows the bad guy isn't dead until you can see the body. I'll believe Cap'n Trade is dead when I see its ruined corpse, not a minute before.
And even then, these progressive fascists won't give up. They'll resurrect it, and force us to fight it again and again until the get what they want.

Cap and Trade was political theater.
It was pre ordained that it would be passed in the house by a slim margin then defeated in the Senate by a slim margin. That way the adminstration can go to Copenhagen (the city, not the can of chewing tobacco) and say "Well, we tried and we are going to keep working on it!!!" Even the Demoncrat Senators know that Cap N Tax will crater the economy and there are elections in 15 months to worry about. The most that will happen is vague laws regarding light bulbs and such. Ive alread begun hoarding incandessant bulbs. The local grocery has a huge table full of them in cases of 12 for $3. 60W-100W
The healthcare thing is more dangerous since some small part of it will get its foot in the door.

"until Minnesotans have a chance to dislodge him from office"
As if...
Who the heck do you think put him there???

The hostages in Minnesota prefer to think of the clown's term as 5-1/2 years, not 6 years. We have so little to hold on to, at least let us savor the fact that his term was cut short by six months.

Minnesotans did NOT elect Franken-stein; he stole the election as surely as Algore tried to do in Florida, and Ah-man-den-e-jad did is Iran. Read Ann Coulter's columns on the election theft.
Why vote? The Democrats will either keep recounting until the "find" enough votes, or get the courts to overturn it, or in Franken-stein's case, both.

Norman
With ACORN allowed to run loose and funded by us to the tune of millions, just any close election between parties will likely go to the Dims as a consequence of ACORN criminality.
Coulter took on the really nasty job of tracing the screaming perfidy of the Dims in Florida in 2000.

Okay, enough already, we get it. The planet [does not] have a fever. Can we now stop wasting so much money and energy on climate research please?
