CNN African Interview Deviates From Script

Obamunist sycophant Don Lemon of CNN got the opposite of the answer he was fishing for when he asked African journalist Nkepile Mabuse if Comrade Obama's welcome in Africa was unprecedented:

It's not unprecedented. When President Bush was here, you will remember, in February, there were people who were drumming, there were dances, and President Bush joined some of them.

They had to take Lemon off screen during the response, so as not to show him gagging on his horror.

Considering the amount of our money W shoveled at Africa, it would be surprising if he weren't popular over there. But in the alternate reality inhabited by American journalists, all non-Caucasians are united against anyone they consider a political enemy.

The look on the guys face at the end was priceless. I can just hear him saying: "Don't let people like that on the show again. They ruin everything."

Hack, meet journalist. Journalist, meet hack.

Another tidbit of info about Bush and Africa: the staggeringly disproportionate number of children in Africa during the last 8 years that were named after George Bush. Africans are really thankful for his consistent and persistent aid, and consider him a hero.

Of course, this does not jibe with the "Bush is the most unpopular US president worldwide in history" drumbeat coming from a majority of the 4th estate during that time, so you don't hear about it. Thank God for international news sources....

Right... Bush may have saved more lives in Africa than any other American president in history, but it doesn't matter, because he's who he is. The left will simply discount all of the people he helped just to push their agenda of derangement.

Man oh man, he jumped so fast in that chair that it looked to me like his hemorrhoids exploded!

Posted by: Fuzzlenutter at July 13, 2009 9:37 AM

That was absolutely hilarious. When she first says the welcome wasn't unprecedented, Lemon jumps as if he's been zapped by a jolt of electricity. Great video!

Looks like Lemon went into that without an exit strategy.

"Er, ahhh ... (dead air)".

Good work dude, very professional.

When outfits like CNN get an interview that matches their bias', they repeat it often during the next twenty four hour news cycle & perhaps longer if they think their viewers should be exposed to whatever message is matching their viewpoint. BUT, when those views do not match, when an interviewee speaks of something opposite the socialist line, that interview dies & is never heard again.
This interview may have seen 6 to 12 hours life, if that & now, its in CNN's trash can because it did not venerate Obama.
How pathetic is the media, and is it any wonder why Fox News (not perfect by any stretch), has outdone all of the others in ratings share or viewership!

Rubicon, then thank God for YouTube. I remember when GWB was dancing along with the drums, everyone grinning ear to ear and having a great time. I loved that video.

Posted by: Karin at July 13, 2009 9:57 AM

Yes, you can see how GWB interacts with the African people. He doesn't stay behind the podium, but comes around it to dance.

one second he assumes, with all the giddiness of a little girl receiving a barbie doll, that obama received a warmer-than-usual African welcome and then seconds later when told otherwise, he concludes that it doesn't matter anyway, then, if Africans also treated Bush with the same warm welcome. I'd love to see the petulent frenzy that dude went into the second the camera cut.

dispicable

CNN anchor Don Lemon got the standard liberal glaze-eyed look when he asked the question, but ended with a grade school style pouty face when the reporter gave him the wrong answer.

Man up Don, and stop being a such a pussy.

LOL!

Sorry. Unfortunate cut and paste.

funny.. I noticed how fast it went from an unprecedented response to ah "Oh.. they just do that for everybody then.. I understand now."

Somebody must have tazzed that fella when she first said it wasn't unprecedented... how funny.

We need A LOT more reporters like her over here!

I think he threw up in his mouth a little

Posted by: 3bus at July 14, 2009 4:31 AM

That bothered that frosty face liberal so much that his butt cheeks squeezed to together.

Posted by: Dave at July 14, 2009 4:31 PM

In fact Bush received a much warmer welcome in Ghana than Obama did. Possibly because west Africans are quite cognizant of what happens when Islamic fundamentalists start running amok, and the need to combat them militarily. Also because Obama hasn't, in actual fact, done sh!t for anybody despite all the talk.
