Tiger Wouldn't
If we are to believe the establishment media's packaging job, the Marxist community activist who tucks his shirt in to play basketball is not only qualified to lead the country, but is as able and cool as James Bond. But his MSM enablers forgot to accompany The Anointed One on this trip to the golf course:
America is being dismantled by a dork.

Simply awesome. Whatever sacrifice it took to get this footage was worth it. This is it. This is the pinnacle. It doesn't get any better. Finally, the world will see. Now impeachment hearings can begin in earnest.

Don't tell him he sucks at golf! For goodness sake, humor him. If we can get him to spend all his time at the golf course we'll be a whole lot better off.

Okay-
Seriously.
No... really - seriously... Forget that Barry will never threaten Tiger (who could)...
Did you ever notice in the Obama basketball clips, that Hussein NEVER goes back for, or plays defense?
HEY! It's a serious question!
What would Dr. Phil say?

Yeah.
But America is being dismantled by a dork with a nice smile.
That's the important thing.

Guy who was almost president of the US says Iran should be allowed to do whatever the hell it wants to do with its nuke program (but make sure the US gets rid of its own nukes, of course!)

Reminds me of a (barely) satirical article from back in the day, once again from Liberal Larry:

Right Wing Terrorist? Not so much...
James W. von Brunn, left a trail of unhinged writings around the internet. ... He unleashed his hatred of both Presidents Bush and other “neo-conservatives” ... even a cursory glance at “white supremacist” writings reveals a hatred of, say, big corporations that is virtually indistinguishable from that of anti-globalization activists.
Posted by: Gregory of Yardale at June 11, 2009 5:35 AM
^^ Gregory of Yardale -- I posted some links a couple of threads down, Brunn is not only a white supremacist and rabid anti-Semite, but also strongly anti-Christian.

I reckon VH will be posting a pretty comprehensive debunking of the "right-wing terrorist" meme later this morning.

I've still got an account at the bike guitarist's joint that I haven't bothered to get banned yet. Heard Cahrles Jhonsno is tripping about Brun being a right winger, might go over there later and get the banstick for pointing out Brun's anti-Christian and pro-evolution.. Lol.

I suck at golf. Obama sucks at golf worse than I. That makes me feel better.
That old white guy at the end has a pretty good swing. I think he could be president. A president should be able to play good golf don't you think? I think Obama should not be president because he cannot play good golf.
......just had a looney tunes moment. Can you blame me?
Posted by: JoeShmoe at June 11, 2009 8:54 AM
Mandible, others there are doing it for you. I used to like LGF alot, especially after 9/11. But lately, I think Johnson just gets it plain wrong on a variety of things.
Posted by: Karin at June 11, 2009 8:59 AM
There is an amazing plentitude of reasons he shouldn't be president, this is just a good opportunity to point at him and laugh.
Posted by: Mr Evilwrench at June 11, 2009 8:59 AM
I'd call him shankopotamus, but he can't even get it off the tee. Tool.
Posted by: Henry at June 11, 2009 9:50 AM
Let's see:
- He's bending his lead (right) arm on the backswing. I tend to lapse into that sometimes. It pulls your hands into your body and causes you to top your shot, or at least hit it thin.
- His trailing (left) arm on the backswing is cocked back like in a baseball swing instead of tucked in closer to his body. This likely contributes to the bend in the lead arm and pulls his hands down and in, out of the swing plane.
- He drops his rear shoulder at the start of the downswing, causing him to hit the ground behind the ball. This is usually caused by the perceived need to "help" the ball into the air, rather than rely on the club to do the work. Trust me on this, I speak from experience.
- He pulls his head up and away from the ball at impact. You tend to be anxious to see where the ball goes, causing you to look up early. This pulls your arms out of the swing plane and can cause all kinds of havoc. The whiff is because of this. Trust me on this, I speak from experience.
- His tempo is a bit quick. If he would slow down a bit he would probably have much better results, or at least more consistent.
- His takeaway is very wristy, like he's picking the club up rather than swinging it back. You swing with your shoulders, not your hands.
If I had to guess, I'd say he's never taken lessons, or not many. None of the things I mentioned are uncorrectable, but it takes a level of awareness of what is going on during the golf swing that not many people apply, nor for that matter care to. This makes perfect sense when you realize that the worst possible thing you can do during a golf swing is think. You have to be relaxed and focus on maybe one or two things during the swing and let the rest take care of itself. There is also the fact that even when you know what you are doing wrong, changing your swing is a monumental challenge. It takes weeks or months of dedicated practice to truly eliminate a bad habit from your swing, and most of us just don't have that kind of time or dedication.
The other amazing thing about the golf swing is the insane lengths your body will go to to try to get the club head back to the ball. For instance, let's say you bend your lead arm, pulling your hand in and shortening your swing. On the downswing, you body realizes that you will miss the ball if it doesn't do something about it, so you drop your back shoulder, moving your hands closer to the ground and allowing the club head to reach the ball. Or perhaps you shifted your weight back too far on the backswing, if effect moving your swing plane backwards. Your brain may react by twisting your hips open, turning you towards your target and making it possible to get your hands back to the ball, with the slight consequence that you are now pulling across the ball and will hit a slice the likes of which you thought only existed in myth and legend. The problem is that all of these corrections are not exact, nor are they terribly efficient. If one correction is too much or not enough, disaster strikes, and even if it doesn't, you come up short of your target due to "power leakage" caused by being out of position. It is a very fine line between a great shot and a slice into the next county, one I walked last night with decidedly mixed results.
Good God, I think I just came up with a metaphor for government meddling in the private sector. "The problem is that all of these corrections are not exact, nor are they terribly efficient. If one correction is too much or not enough, disaster strikes, and even if it doesn't, you come up short of your target due to "power leakage" caused by being out of position." Who says golf can't teach you anything?
Posted by: CoderInCrisis at June 11, 2009 10:56 AM
His biggest problem: lack of dynamic balance, i.e., failure to maintain balance throughout the swing. Struggling to regain balance causes all of the problems enumerated by CoderInCrisis.

I just stumbled on this website and boy do you people need a life. So he's got a hacker golf swing - who cares! It has nothing to do with anything that matters. Bush couldn't complete a sentence but is that what made him a terrible Pres? Most of you people probably listen to Rush's
ignorant rants but the fact that he's a fat chunk of drug-addled chickenhawk make him a bad person? Of course not, it's the hypocritical, cowardly hate-mongering the spews from him that makes him a fraud.

Hilarious! That you don't even see the stupidity in making a "who's the superior golfer" comparison.
I guess that is what Obama gets for spending his time doing his job, instead of out on the golf course improving his swing. Do I really give a shit if our president can play golf? (I'll go ahead and answer that for those who can't complete that thought: The answer is no)
