Rock Bottom
This is what it's come to:

A failed ultra-left talk show host and former second-rate professional clown, known for his extreme obnoxiousness, cheating on his taxes, and failing to take out worker's comp for his employees has been installed in the position of United States Senator. If Barack Hussein Obama can be President, why not?
Look at the bright side: from here our ruling class can only improve.

2010 Baby. 2010 Baby.
Hopefully the country can keep a lid on the backlash (and it is coming) so that we can have elections in 2010.
Posted by: Oiao at June 30, 2009 8:30 PM
That would be 60? Right? You fail to mention the success of SNL,the best selling books he authored, Harvard Grad cum laude class of 1973,his work with the USO that our troops loved, and that Talkers Magazine (the Bible of Talk Radio) rated his show very well.Further, you fail to mention that the DFL seat he will fill is that of Senator Paul Wellstone.Get used to it, things still are not looking up for the GOP, you had years and you failed!
Posted by: Ghost of Wellstone at June 30, 2009 8:40 PM
As the propagandist from Kos said, the Democrats no longer have any excuses.
Posted by: J at June 30, 2009 8:43 PM
At this point, the Administration, Senate and House own and are responsible for everything that happens. The backlash will be severe.
Historians will not be kind to the black Jimmy Carter and his cronies.

Minnesota is, once again, a bigger joke than California.
Posted by: V the K at June 30, 2009 8:51 PM
Yep. That's a picture of a very typical liberal alright. It's obvious why Smellsstoned is so proud and devoted to the freak. Freaks love freaks.
And, as Smellsstones points out - his radio show got very good ratings from a magazine no one has ever heard of. That why it was cancelled due to ZERO listership and no sponsors. Good call Smellsstoned. I and can also believe the Harvard cum stuff too. Another good call.
Welcome back Oiao.
Posted by: Jimbo at June 30, 2009 8:56 PM
Oh - and it also appears he's stuffed his diaper with socks.
Posted by: Jimbo at June 30, 2009 8:58 PM
Ghost of Wellstone you suck! Dork!
Posted by: Amused As Hell at June 30, 2009 9:00 PM
Right, Jimbo, and I'm sure if you asked most of the troops they wouldn't say they "loved" his work, either. The only bit he's ever done that was even smirk-worthy IMHO was Stuart Smalley. Just about everything else he's done has made my skin crawl.
Posted by: Judith M. at June 30, 2009 9:12 PM
Dude! I'm eating!
That's just nasty. What's really scary is moonbats are proud of this jackass...

Who is that jerk some rejected charture from PEE WEES PLAY HOUSE? Boy what a rediculous looking dolt

Congratulations Democrats. Another rubber stamp added to Obama's rubber stamp Congress.

Harry's circus gets another clown.
Posted by: IOpian at June 30, 2009 10:17 PM
Now, with a supermajority, with any luck, the Dems will now take these two knuckleheads advice:
http://hotair.com/archives/2009/06/30/kos-warns-reid-with-60-votes-you-have-no-more-excuses/
Forget there are Republicans, Dems. Forget a huge segment of the population. Forget there is anyone else but you. And Republicans in Congress, let them do it. Let them keep you out. Don't be a party to anything that's happening - you'll only be co-opted.
I want the Democrats to take full credit for everything they do.
Markos and Bill Press don't see what the Dem leadership sees.
Posted by: Kevin R at June 30, 2009 10:52 PM
Where was it written that no one but a best bud of Wellstone can fill that seat. It's true, Minnesota may be wackier than California--but then we are too stupid to figure out how to take acetaminophen without killing ourselves--maybe we deserve this crap

Perhaps a dead man’s party is in order just to thank the 2812 dead voters that made the Franken victory possible.
Yep, it’s a miracle and definitely above and beyond the call of civic duty.
Posted by: Lord Crimson at July 1, 2009 4:04 AM
Minnesota must be proud that they have managed to lower the bar for qualifications to the US Senate so low that it is now below Lake Superior. I always knew that there are many clowns in the senate, now we have a professional.
Posted by: Bruce pierce at July 1, 2009 4:46 AM
Another Dem tax cheat? I'm shocked, shocked I tell you.
Posted by: Scaramouche at July 1, 2009 6:16 AM
Voting in the USA is now completely fixed by the dems.
Freedom and democracy, I will miss you.
Or we can stand up and start the revolution!!!!

Al Franken in the U.S. Senate is about as effective as having the Bar None sock puppet serving in the U.S. Senate. That's all Franken is, a liberal troll sock puppet.
At least the Bar None sock puppet has personality, class, integrity, intellect and isn't tax cheat.
Posted by: Graycat at July 1, 2009 8:15 AM
Minnesota has a system of “same day registration,” where you can show up, register, and vote on the spot. All you need is a school ID or even a utility bill or rental receipt, which are easy to fake (not that anyone will be checking). It’s a system ripe for abuse. It’s only too easy for out-of-state college students or a couple busloads of ACORN voters from Chicago to be parachuted into marginal precincts to up the vote for the Demonrats.

"Look at the bright side: from here our ruling class can only improve."
NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooo! Never say that stuff. No matter how low you set the bar, someone lower will come along. *jinx*

2010/2012/2013; choose your revolution
Posted by: czuch at July 1, 2009 12:12 PM
ACORN played a major roll in the cheating necessary for getting this garabage into the senate. Who would have guessed?
There's really nothing to stop the Dims' legislative treason at this point except possibly their own habitual cluster f-ing.
Interesting that in addition to admitted-Muslim Keith Ellison, Minn. has now sent us this malevolent freak. If the country ever recovers from this metastasis, the GOP should raze the entire state of Minn. and sew every last sq ft with salt.
Posted by: Fiberal at July 1, 2009 2:46 PM
Maybe Emo Philips can be elected governor. Hell, I'm sure Carrot Top is looking for a job. maybe he could be Lt. governor of Miniscrotum, I mean Minnesota.

RE: Posted by: Lord Crimson at July 1, 2009 4:04 AM
You mean Wellstone himself voted for Franken?
Wouldn't doubt it......
Posted by: TonyD95B at July 1, 2009 5:46 PM
Liberals have often said that "the best and the brightest" should run the government.
When will they make good on that promass?
Posted by: KHarn at July 1, 2009 5:53 PM
Looking back at 2000, the irony of history repeating itself provides its own humor in a way I suppose. With that said, you guys WHAAAAAaaaaaaannna cookie?
Posted by: andy42302 at July 1, 2009 6:59 PM
Franken goes to the Senate having actually stolen an election.
Franken is not worth the dirt George Bush spits on.
And neither is your opinion.
Posted by: Fiberal at July 1, 2009 8:33 PM
And that Fiberal, is simply your opinion. Like it or not, the courts say it's legit. It's kinda like to courts giving Bush Florida, even tho brother Zeb used state police to suppress the black vote. And of course their voting setup was where they could count anyway they liked. But my opinion means nothing and Bush legally won and that's the way it is. Franken has now legally won and that's the way it is. Need any cheese to go with your whine?
Posted by: andy42302 at July 2, 2009 5:41 AM
You guys do realize this thing is pohtoshopped right?
Posted by: Fred Dorfman at July 2, 2009 12:29 PM
Grandpa, what was a republican?
Posted by: Tomhere at July 2, 2009 12:29 PM
Q:What do Chrysler, GM and the republican party have in common?
A: They're all bankrupt.
Q:What is the difference between Chrysler, GM, and the republican party?
A: Chrysler and GM have intelligent people and a plan to succeed.
People HOPE the republicans will seceed!
Posted by: Tomhere at July 2, 2009 12:34 PM
So PhotoShopped, so mean spirited. The guy won fair and square, now let's give him a chance to do the job he's been elected to do.
What a bunch of whiners here.
Posted by: KC Conwell at July 2, 2009 12:36 PM
Its a doctored photo, people. It isn't Franken. The Republican party isn't this desparate, or is it? I guess it is. Too bad. We need an opposition party with some concrete, realistic ideas, rather than the same old GOP blather that people other than the wing-nuts can agree with. The Republican Party has become the party of anger, and anger isn't a good place to govern from.
Posted by: David at July 2, 2009 12:59 PM
I just read the posts. Yep, anger--most people on here are just angry, no insight, no analysis, no understanding why Coleman lost, no understanding why Obama won. Just myths, blame and anger. Like the guy who says Franken isn't worth the ground George Bush spits on. Keep this up and Republicans will either be a minor party forever or disappear altogether.
Posted by: David at July 2, 2009 1:03 PM
This site must have borrowed this picture from Vitter or Sanford and photo shopped it. Maybe the right should spend less time tearing down the left and find some leaders that can keep it in their pants, stayed married to there 1st wife, and do their job. Good luck with that.
Posted by: Dsz at July 2, 2009 1:10 PM
You really touched a nerve with this one, Van. Lot of trolls.
Posted by: Kevin R at July 2, 2009 2:27 PM
Hey David have you looked on the lefty sites lately?
Stop with the hypocracy!
KC Conwell.....Bullshit!
Interesting handle you have KC...Conwell.
Yep typical of the liberal establishment...Conwell.
Obama won through fraudulent ACORN activities.
Posted by: Dave at July 2, 2009 2:42 PM
Right Tomhere....that's why they are bankrupt.
What a bunch of idiot trolls.
