Because, it's "hot and juicy" not "dessicated and botoxed." (Goes for John Kerry, too.)

I keep hearing that conservatives are all but extinct, yet nearly twice as many Americans identify as conservative versus liberal. One almost suspects that the MSM stories of the Death of Conservative may be some sort of deliberate distortion, but surely our fair and objective media/ right-wing corporate owned media would not deliberately play down America's conservatism. What possible agenda could lead them to do that?

Obama: Welcome to Socialist Burger, may I take your order, please?
Hard working, mortgage-paying, tax-paying American family guy seeking health and and medical insurance for working spouse and young children: Yeah, One Medical plan, family size, with everything.
Obama: No can do. How 'bout an assigned doctor, with no more than three visits a year, with $300.00 co-pay per visit, if you need a specialist, there will be a non-specified waiting period, no extra medications, beyond three month's supply, doctor ordered medical tests or procedures require waiting period of at least three months subject to my approval and $10,000 deductible. Would your employer's medical benefits plan taxed pre-tax or after-tax? If your self-employed, sorry, you're outta luck, fella.

I'm sorry, but your retard-in-chief has no clue (in the best case) or actually agrees with what is going on in Tehran (which is my opinion of him). Iranians are dying in the streets of Tehran, bravely standing up to totalitarianism.
Here is the nonsensical, jumbled, noncommital response from the president of the United States.
Hey trolls, what do you think about this? Is this the "tough, disciplined" diplomacy you were expecting? Do you find this as embarrassing and humiliating as I do? Is Obama meeting your expectations of what the leader of the free world should be saying and doing in these circumstances? Or is it just like, Iranians, F 'em?

I have been hearing so much from governor Sarah Palin ever since her visit to New York City a few days ago. I am sure that by now you’ve heard the jokes that talk shot host David Letterman made about her daughter. It wasn’t nearly Letterman’s best material, and he admitted as much as he apologized on his show. You would have thought that would have been the end of it, but it seems that Palin and her husband, the first dude of Alaska, feel the need to keep this ball up in the air.
I used to feel sorry for Palin, a not-very-smart person thrust into the spotlight who didn’t realize her 15 minutes were up and kept on talkin’. She’s at it again and, golly, she reminds me of my sister when she was in 10th grade. I never had a sister, but you know what I mean. Ms. Palin, you took your pregnant daughter out on stages all over America and at no point acknowledged the overwhelming hypocrisy of your words and actions. You’re now a grandmother and your daughter has never been married. How ghetto! All of Mr. and Ms. Palin’s dingbat yammering in the last few days over Letterman’s throwaway remarks, featherweight in comparison to the molotovs that men like Limbaugh and Beck hurl with dismal predictability, are showing this pair to be small town hickoids who can’t get over the fact that David Letterman mentioned them on his show. Someone give these two Alaskans a free dinner coupon for Red Lobster and stop picking up the phone when they call.
Several months ago, when I was obligated to take governor Palin somewhat seriously, I was amazed at just how ill-equipped she was not only for the job of vice president but for governor, mayor, and guardian of her daughter’s virginity, and by how the only people who didn’t seem to see it were Sarah Palin and this one woman I met in a parking lot in St. Louis last year. You right-wingers are a strange bunch. Has president Obama come for your guns yet? No? What are you going to do with all those extra bullets? Got any tea bags left? When's the next party?
O.K., I am laughing too much now, gotta go.

Posted by: Worst of Gallstone at June 15, 2009 7:45 PM
Rollins, enjoy your moment. 2010 will be here soon enough, and I have a feeling it may be much more interesting and competitive than the media keep telling us. It turns out many people don't really agree with Obama on a few key things. I for one welcome the combat. Not being much of a Palin supporter anymore (following her media interviews during the campaign), though I certainly was at first, I'm not going to stick up for her. I don't think she will be the candidate in 2012 and that there will be some new name who will be much more competitive. I have a feeling the Dems are going to overplay their hand, underestimate their opponents, and waste precious cycles feeling and expressing scorn for Red State types, which will ultimately be very advantageous for conservatives, so I for one welcome the derision and encourage more of it. Please spend a lot of your time and energy writing bad stuff about Sarah Palin, as much as you can stand. Please spend a lot of time and energy feeling outraged and angry about Cheney, Rush, and Nixon.

Obama bows to trial lawyers, booed by doctors
Barack Obama isn't used to hearing boos.
For all the young president's popularity, the response he got Monday from doctors at an American Medical Association meeting was a sign his road is only going to get rockier as he tries to sell his plan to overhaul the nation's health care system.
The boos erupted when Obama told the doctors in Chicago he wouldn't try to help them win their top legislative priority — limits on jury damages in medical malpractice cases.
But what could they expect? If Obama announced support for malpractice limits, that would set trial lawyers and unions — major supporters of Democratic candidates — on the attack. Not to mention consumer groups.

Joey Biden as Ronny McDonny cracks me up. He really is a silly clown!
And Rollins is spewing the same Liberal talking points I've heard many times. How is it hypocritical for a pro-life Mom to promote abstinence to her kids? Her daughter chose not to listen and suffered the consequences. It would have been hypocritical if Palin had encouraged her daughter to abort, but she didn't, instead she supported her daughter through her pregnancy and is helping her to take responsibility for her actions. (Also, I've heard many Libs claim that Palin "trotted" her kids out in public to promote her campaign. What a bunch of BS. Since when is it wrong for a VP nominee to have her kids in attendance at the announcement of her VP nomination, etc? If the kids hadn't been there, the Lib news would have accused Palin of trying to hide her teen daughter's pregnancy!)

PRINCETON, NJ -- Thus far in 2009, 40% of Americans interviewed in national Gallup Poll surveys describe their political views as conservative, 35% as moderate, and 21% as liberal. This represents a slight increase for conservatism in the U.S. since 2008, returning it to a level last seen in 2004. The 21% calling themselves liberal is in line with findings throughout this decade, but is up from the 1990s.

Guns Don’t Kill People–Liberals Do!
A little over ten years ago, two maniacal Columbine High School students perpetrated the worst high school massacre in America’s history, executing 13 innocent victims and wounding 24 more.
That horrendous event wasn’t even the worst school horror, just the worst high school massacre. In 1927, the “Bath School [Bombing] Disaster” claimed 45 lives and injured 58, the Virginia Tech shooter killed 32 and wounded dozens two years ago, and the 1966 University of Texas rampage took 14 lives and wounded thirty-two.
In each instance, the murderous mayhem was the result of a deeply disturbed individual wreaking havoc whether he used a pistol, a rifle, or bombs. It’s trite but still true to say that guns (or bombs) don’t kill people, people kill people.
Had guns not been available to Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold, Seung-Hui Cho, and Charles Whitman, their sick minds would have conjured up some other method of mass murder, as Andrew Kehoe did with his dynamite and pyrotol at the Bath, MI school.
We’re all aware that when butchers are sufficiently motivated, virtually nothing can stop them from their goals, even if they have to employ American airliners to serve as missiles to kill thousands on 9/11/2001.
Correction: Most thinking people are so aware, which excludes the liberal mentality and its hand-wringing adherents who prefer to find fault with the human psyche rather than with the human miscreants who commit such atrocities.
That said, I’m not a gun guy, a gun nut, or a member of the N.R.A. I don’t even own a gun. However, I revere the Constitution and its much-maligned Second Amendment which reads, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.”
I choose to skip the controversy over that amendment and such absurdities as arguing over where the commas should go and what the Founding Fathers’ phraseology really means since the entire hullabaloo is a political concoction designed to strip American citizens of their right to defend themselves.
The case for the Second Amendment was closed with these words of a great American: ”What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.” –Thomas Jefferson to William Stephens Smith, 1787. And these: It is “the right and duty [of citizens] to be at all times armed.”–Thomas Jefferson to John Cartwright, 1824.
So much for the intent of America’s Founders.
Undismayed by reality and committed to re-writing the Consitution to accomplish their own philosophical and political aims, various fatuous reasons are offered today by the Liberal Establishment, all centered on disarming Americans under the pretext of protecting us from ourselves, whereas the protection we need is from our government.
Those pretexts range from ”getting guns off the streets” to making America safer to preventing future Columbines, and all phony reasons in between.
None of those excuses make any sense since criminals will get guns whether they have to illegally import, steal or manufacture them, Americans are hardly safer when they can’t effectively deter their own and their family’s murders, and directions for building crude fertilizer explosives are readily available on the internet.
The Florida experiment of permitting a citizen’s “right to carry” a weapon is usually glossed over or the truth disputed but, as Sgt. Joe Friday used to say, “Facts are facts, ma’am.”
In the ten years after that permission was granted by law, as it is in 30 other states with almost half the country’s population, these changes occurred:
Florida
United States
homicide rate
-36%
-0.4%
firearm homicide rate
-37%
+15%
handgun homicide rate
-41%
+24%
(http://www.justfacts.com/guncontrol.asp)
That same website cites a quotation from one notable, ban all guns, liberal nitwit which reflects the level of thought common among her ilk: “At the time the law was passed, critics predicted increases in violence. The founder of the National Organization of Women, Betty Friedan stated, ‘Lethal violence, even in self-defense, only engenders more violence.’ “
Poor, Ugly Betty. She died in 2006 after a life filled with drudgery, pre-marital affairs, tranquilizers, and spousal abuse. Her feminine mystique was powerless to help her: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/02/05/national/05friedan.html?_r=1
It’s no wonder she wanted others to be put out of their misery by some armed intruder. That would surely engender less violence!
In 1995, almost 44,000 people were killed on our roadways, . . .
