Liberty in Liberal Boulder

Moonbats may not believe in economic freedom, but other freedoms are guarded jealously:

BOULDER (AP) — A couple of nudists say their landlord is wrongly discriminating by trying to get them to cover up while gardening.
Robert and Catharine Pierce have been accused by their landlord of being a nuisance by gardening wearing only thong underwear, plus pasties for Catharine Pierce.

The landlord has threatened them with eviction if they don't put their clothes on. But 58-year-old Robert climbs atop the barricades and bleats:

We want our freedom. We want exactly what the law gives you, and we don't want to be harassed about it.

Neighbor Emily Hink doesn't care if they want to walk around naked in private, but…

There are so many parks around here, and there are lots of kids around. They're on the corner lot right across the street from the community gardens and the Waldorf school. The whole street is lined with kids.

However, the important thing isn't to behave with a modicum of decorum in front of children, but for the Pierces to do their thing and let it all hang out, while the government seizes at least half of our wealth, sinks our grandchildren up to their necks in debt, and prepares to regulate industry back to the Bronze Age in the name of the global warming hoax. That's what freedom means, with moonbattery in ascendency.
