Hugo Chavez Recognizes Achievements of Fellow Socialist Obama
Mealy-mouthed weenies have regarded it as "over the top" to point out that the leftist punk the media installed in the White House is a socialist. But not socialist dictator Hugo Chavez:
Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez said on Tuesday that he and Cuban ally Fidel Castro risk being more conservative than U.S. President Barack Obama as Washington prepares to take control of General Motors Corp.
During one of Chavez's customary lectures on the "curse" of capitalism and the bonanzas of socialism, the Venezuelan leader made reference to GM's bankruptcy filing, which is expected to give the U.S. government a 60 percent stake in the 100-year-old former symbol of American might.
"Hey, Obama has just nationalized nothing more and nothing less than General Motors. Comrade Obama! Fidel, careful or we are going to end up to his right," Chavez joked on a live television broadcast.
During a decade in government, Chavez has nationalized most of Venezuela's key economic sectors, including multibillion dollar oil projects, often via joint ventures with the private sector that give the state a 60 percent controlling stake.
Chavez had better find some more property to seize or industry to suffocate, lest his colleague Comrade Obama leave him behind in the race toward the squalid totalitarian penury on display in Cuba.

On my way into the office every day, I see 2 or 3 black guys sitting down on the sidewalk with paper cups asking for CHANGE.
Part of me wants to drop a dime, nickel and penny into their cups and say "In honor of President Obama, here is some CHANGE". Then I think the guy might have a knife or something, and I think better of it and walk on by.

By Obama's second term, we will see speculators buying landfills so they can excavate and find and sell objects we once threw away. We don't make things anymore--and when our money is worthless, the only place to get some of this stuff will be in landfills. That ought to create a lot of jobs and maybe a cabinet csar of landfill excavation management. Obama will probably nationalize the landfills.

Well, I suppose communism is one way to slow immigration. :P In all seriousness though, is this guy not proving what we were all saying about him in the leadup to the election? Socialist, Muslim ties, unknown birth location, amateurish, arrogant, the list goes on and on. The worst part is that the public at-large doesn't take the time to realize that he contradicts himself, as well as every American principle he mentions, each time he cranks up the prompter.

I believe the woman in the picture is searching for Ms. Obama's expensive sneakers. After-all a fashionista like Ms. O wouldn't wear those shoes more than once. Funny how all us little people are told to sacrifice but the Prez and his old lady sure don't want for anything, do they?

This same comment applied BEFORE he got elected, too.
President Obama is a blank slate that Loopy, Loony, Lying, Lemming-Like Liberal Leftist Losers all project their own views onto. Ask any Obama supporter what he stands for, and they will all give you wildly different answers that are more of a reflection of what they are hoping he is, not of what he's actually said or done.
Some will say that this tendency for supporters to to project their own hopes and views is true of any politician, and up to a point I'll agree. It's a very subtle thing, but Obama takes it over the top - with him it's almost as if he is some sory of mythical, magical, messianic figure. People are truly in awe of the guy - but in reality what you really see when you look closely is mostly........nothing.
