You really, REALLY want to stay away from Al Franken's finger. No telling WHERE that thing's been.

Okay - I've got a fair idea, but you DON'T want to know!

(Ditto Bawny Fwank and Wosey O'Donnell)

Oh - and Dodd, Mayers, Matthews, & Moore.

Hell - I guess every damned one of them are in that category.

Moral: Don't shake hands with a liberal - that's some nasty stuff.

We ought to bring back the "Flying Fickle Finger of Fate" award from the old Laugh-In TV show.....

!!!!Breaking News Flash Brought to You By the Same Unbiased MSM Who Report on Sen. Ensign's Affair!!!!

Rep. Barney Frank admits to torrid homosexual affair

Massachusetts lawmaker calls the affair ‘the worst thing that I have ever done’

SIN CITY - Democrat Rep. Barney Frank of Massachusetts, a flaming leftist Democrat who heads the House Banking Subcommittee, admitted Tuesday he had an illicit homosexual affair with a man who was a member of Fannie Mae and that his Washington apartment had been used as a callboy headquarters by a male prostitute for a year and a half until late 1987.
"Several years ago I had a perverted affair and ran a gay prostitution ring. I violated the laws of nature," Frank said at a brief news conference. "It is the worst thing I have ever done in my life and an abominable sin. If there was ever anything in my life that I could take back, this would be it. I also falsely covered and resisted on behalf of my gay lover against stringent oversight and investigations of Fannie Mae suggested by the Bush Administration when warned of impending problems with Fannie’s mortgage loans that preceded our nation’s current economic crisis. I am ashamed of my behavior and betrayal of my office and of the American people that directly contributed to the mess we find ourselves in today. Mr. O’Reilly, you were right to call me out on this and I am so so so sorwy."
In 2003, while the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee, Frank opposed a Bush administration proposal for transferring oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac from Congress and the Department of Housing and Urban Development to a new agency that would be created within the Treasury Department. The proposal reflected the administration's belief that Congress "neither has the tools, nor the stature" for adequate oversight. Frank stated, "These two entities...are not facing any kind of financial crisis.... The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing." The two companies, which together own or back more than half the home mortgages in the US became "hobbled" by loan defaults. Frank sqwaked in 2009 that Fannie and Freddie were not in crisis at the time and many financial institutions, like Lehman Brothers, also fell into crisis from 2003 to 2008.
Unnamed sources disclosed that Frank's former sodomy partner, Herb Moses, was an executive at Fannie from 1991 to 1998, where Moses helped develop many of Fannie’s housing and home improvement lending programs. In 1991, while “pushing” Moses, Frank also pushed for reduced restrictions on two- and three-family home mortgages. During the time that Frank was in an unnatural relationship with Moses, he blocked tougher regulations on the banking companies while voting for the Government Sponsored Housing Enterprises Financial Safety and Soundness Act of 1991 and the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992. Frank and Moses' illicit relationship ended around the same time Moses left the company.
Frank has a 100% rating from NARAL. He voted against the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act, against the Unborn Victims of Violence Act[ and against the criminalization of the transportation of minors across state lines by non-family members to circumvent local abortion laws. “Why to do otherwise would be a disservice to my perversion,” Frank screamed.
Frank, 69, said he was “vwery hurt” and would never again mention the name of Moses, although he described the man and as attractively hairy.
"Our genatalia were close," a weary-looking Frank said. "That closeness put me into situations which led to my inappropriate behavior. We caused deep pain to both us and for that I am sorry."
In a response to criticisms, Frank has previously said that "during twelve years of Republican rule no reform was adopted regarding Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. In 2007, a few months after I became the Chwairman, the House passed a strong reform bill; we sought to get the [Bush] administration’s approval to include it in the economic stimulus legislation in January 2008; and finally got it passed and onto President Bush’s desk in July 2008. Twelve years of Republican rule produced no reform of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. We were able to adopt it in nineteen months, and we could have done it much quicker if the [Bush] administration had cooperated."
No plans to resign
Frank made it clear he did not plan to resign. Frank did not participate earlier Tuesday in a House vote concerning the election of reprobates to public office, an unusual absence considering the topic's relevance in his home state.
It was unclear why Frank decided to disclose the affair and prostitution ring Tuesday. He took no questions from reporters at the news conference.
Frank's current lover, Mohammed, also released a statement about the affair.
"Since I found out last year we have worked through the situation and we have come to a reconciliation. This has been difficult on both of us. With the help of our Dear Leader and close friends our relationship has become stronger," Mrs. Mohammed Frank said.
The Franks have no children, but would like to adopt several able-bodied men (of statutory age) from Club Gitmo.
Frank was first elected to the House in 1982 and has been re-elected ever since by wide margins of the same sort of folks that continue to elect such reprobates as Ted “the Swimmer” Kennedy and John “I served in Vietnam” Kerry. In 2007 Frank became the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee (when the Democratic Party won a majority in the House of Representatives). The committee oversees the housing and banking industries. Frank is widely considered to be one of the most powerful members of Congress.
Frank is known for his swarminess, self-defensive posturings, and flaming homosexuality. He once famously quipped that he was unable to complete his review of the Starr Report detailing President Bill Clinton's relationship with Monica Lewinsky, complaining that it was "too much reading about heterosexual sex".
In 2006, Frank was one of three Representatives to oppose the Respect for America's Fallen Heroes Act, which restricted protests (notably those of Fred Phelps' Westboro Baptist Church) at soldiers' funerals. He opposed the bill, which passed unanimously in the Senate, on supposed civil liberties and constitutional grounds. Frank said of the vote, "I think it’s very likely to be found unconstitutional. It’s true that when you defend civil liberties you are typically defending people who do obnoxious things like me... You play into our hands when you let them provoke you into overdoing it. I don’t want these citizens to [make the] claim [that] America is hypocritical. But I wesent da fwact that normal folks qwestion my pwatwiotism"

Why is it that moonbats are always wagging their fingers at us?

Because they're sanctimonious pricks, and the more time pointing the finger at others the less obvious it is to everyone else that they almost always fail to live up to the expectations they foist onto others (or so they think.)

Because, as in the past, it has been proven to work...They expect us to back down, after all, aren't we supposed to take the high road. From Alinsky's Rules for Radicals:

Rule 4: Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. “You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.”

Posted by: KT at June 17, 2009 2:35 AM

Speaking of the Ghost of Journalism, looks like the executive branch/4th estate singularity is near completion:

"“On the night of June 24, the media and government become one, when ABC turns its programming over to President Obama and White House officials to push government run health care,” reports Drudge.

Later this month, ABC News and Charlie Gibson will help Obama sell you health care “reform” based on rationing and denial of service.

Charlie Gibson will anchor his World News program from the Blue Room of the White House and the network plans to air a slick propaganda piece — entitled “Prescription for America” — that will originate from the East Room.

Republicans demanded equal time to present their views on so-called health care reform, but the request was rejected by ABC News."

In brighter media-related news, Newsweek.com runs Factcheck.org article pwning Obama on unemployment numbers; even features a link to the chart created by Geoff at innocentbystanders.com (conservative and frequent AoSHQ poster).

Posted by: nancz at June 17, 2009 4:10 AM

Leftists are people who think they know what's best for everybody, and they seek government power so they can force everybody to live the way they think is best. Your basic conservative wants to be left alone, and wants the government to leave others alone. Your basic leftist lives to meddle, to have control over others. They are the teacher, we're the class of six year olds (and if the comments left by trolls here are typical of leftists, you can't blame them for thinking like that), so of course they're always wagging fingers at us. We're naughty. Good little boys and girls shut up, pay their taxes, and do what nanny government says. Bad little boys and girls think for themselves.

Hey, the more grassroots libs are already fond of the middle finger (i.e. at their protests, when confronted with police or conservative counterdemonstrators).

Posted by: Adam at June 17, 2009 4:24 AM

I have seen this before. Every mullah, or terrorist you see lecturing or threatening the US does the same thing. Coincidence? I think not.

Because they can't get them both up their A$$ at the same time (without falling over)...

Posted by: TED at June 17, 2009 5:40 AM

Every time they point a finger at you, they are pointing FOUR at themselves.

Posted by: Eric at June 17, 2009 5:44 AM

According to the anthropologists, in western culture, vehement and incessant finger jabbing or pointing is a clear sign of an attempt to control the behavior of others.

If Wellstoned and the other trolls actually came here to listen instead of lecture, they might learn something from this thread: conservatives resent liberal condescension and social micromanagement.

Hehe, it's perfect. Rite of Spring would have been a perfect choice for the Obama coronation celebration.

Le Sacre du Printemps storyline:

"The painter Nicholas Roerich shared his idea with Stravinsky in 1910, his fleeting vision of a pagan ritual in which a young girl dances herself to death. Stravinsky's earliest conception of The Rite of Spring was in the spring of 1910, in the form of a dream: "... the wise elders are seated in a circle and are observing the dance before death of the girl whom they are offering as a sacrifice to the god of Spring in order to gain his benevolence," said Stravinsky.

Heh, if you do a quick scan of the photos, it's easy to overlook Reverend White and Farrakhan if your looking for a black guy.

I can't help but notice that "black" guys who look white often have the biggest chips on their shoulders like their predecessor Malcolm X.

Hitler and Stalin had the toxic "identity politics/identity crisis" thing working on their brains too. Foreigners trying to prove how "German" and "Russian" they were.

Some interesting excerpts from an analysis of finger body language:

People who are angry tend to point more, including at themselves (when they feel hurt or insulted) and at those who they feel are to blame.

The wagging finger of admonition beats up and down as if striking the culprit. This can be with a stable hand and just a finger way. It may also be done with the whole arm, giving an exaggerated striking movement.

The forefinger held up and stationary means 'wait' (perhaps as a threat of being used as a club otherwise).

The finger prod can act like a stiletto knife, stabbing forward at the other person. This is usually the index finger, although the middle finger is sometimes used. This is often very threatening and felt as a personal attack.

Verrry interesting...

Posted by: Henry at June 17, 2009 1:49 PM

The worst part:

This is the same way they deal with the world's enemies, i.e. Chavez, Castro, Hamas, Kim Jong Ill, Ahmawhackjob, etc.

"Some stern words and a little finger wagging will let them know we mean business! Maybe a strongly worded letter..."

"other trolls actually came here to listen instead of lecture, they might learn something from this thread"

Learn something from this thread. That is really hilarious.

The gesture of pointing and who does it? Only here would you think this is an actual topic. Is it worth it to say that politics is a heated arena, and that people who are good takers often talk with their hands? Is it worth suggesting that anyone who talks enough if front of a camera is going to have their picture taken pointing?

Its probably not worth mentioning, because doubtless many of you would actually try to take up this cause and defend it.

Posted by: Anonymous at June 18, 2009 7:55 PM

Mussolini, Stalin, Hitler and Obama. Similarity; they were/ are all Socialists. Difference; In some warped and distorted way, the first three had pride in the precived greatness and power of their nations. Our Clown on the other hand thinks his nation is mean and meddlesome and is actively working of ways to weaken it.

Obama sees the greatness of our nation and has stated it over and over. He thinks our country is so great, that he'd rather spend OUR money on OUR people. He thinks our country is so great, that he thinks we should all have health coverage. He thinks our country is so great, that we can get what we want, without the use of torture.

If that's weakening us anon. then your vision of "strong" is quite weak.
