Ex-Con Sues Nurse Over Erection
From New York, the lawsuit of the day:
An ex-con is suing an upstate prison nurse who allegedly sent him back to his cell after medication side effects gave him a painful erection that wouldn't go away.
The erection lasted 55 hours, a side effect of antipsychotic medication taken by career criminal Dawud Yaduallah. The nurse stands accused of committing "an [inexcusable] violation of this man's civil rights" by giving him the same advice Bill Clinton gave Juanita Broaddrick: put some ice on it.
Unlike Slick Willie, the since retired nurse may actually get in trouble.
His Manhattan federal court suit doesn't specify damages but demands stiff punishment for Lovelace's "cruel and uncivilized conduct."
She should have followed standard medical procedure by showing him this.
