California House Speaker Calls Conservatives "Terrorists"

Normally, Democrats take the side of terrorists, righteously defending them from those who would subject them to oppression. But terrorism doesn't always find favor with our current rulers. For example, expressing the view that our taxes are high enough without being sent even further through the stratosphere is a form of terrorism fiercely condemned by California Assembly Speaker Karen Bass. Here's how she reacted when asked, "How do you think conservative talk radio has affected the Legislature's work?"

The Republicans were essentially threatened and terrorized against voting for revenue. Now [some] are facing recalls. They operate under a terrorist threat: "You vote for revenue and your career is over." I don't know why we allow that kind of terrorism to exist. I guess it's about free speech, but it's extremely unfair.

After the pesky First Amendment has followed the Tenth into the trashcan, the Department of Homeland Security will devote itself to dealing firmly with this terrorist threat. When the airwaves are rid of terrorists pleading for tax relief, it can move on to the Internet.
