ABC Employees Overwhelmingly Supported Comrade Obama

Today's least surprising story might help explain why ABC News is willing to sacrifice whatever credibility it has left by turning its newscast into an infomercial in support of Obama's attempt to seize control of the healthcare industry, refusing even to accept paid advertising that might allow the opposition to get its point of view heard, tailspinning ratings be damned:

At ABC, Obama supporters outnumbered McCain supporters 33 to 1. In terms of contributions, they gave $160,000 to B. Hussein, $5,000 to McCain.

Expecting objectivity from networks staffed and run almost entirely by moonbats may be a little unrealistic.

think ABC is negotiating a stimulus plan to help them?

Posted by: blue at June 19, 2009 8:39 AM

The common sense approach to this blatant ABC media travesty is not to participate by turning to another channel while the Obamanation is spinning his web of lies. Of course that is good advice any time he speaks.

It's also a good time to plan future television viewing as to exclude ABC from the lineup. Don't worry, if you have cable there are plenty of other mind-numbing stations you can watch instead of ABC.

ABC the AWFUL BROADCASTING COMPANY it should be totaly boycotted and to think that DISNEY owns ABC what a bad turn of events WALT DISNEY is spinning in his grave

Posted by: SPURWING PLOVER at June 19, 2009 9:57 AM

I don't even get the networks, so my boycott is easy. Nielsen agreed to look into that plummeting ratings on the World News from a day or two ago, but I can't find an update on that. Anyone heard?
If it was real, it would warm me to my core.

The insane Liberals have always said that BOOOSH controled the media. What do they say about this?

"............"

Posted by: KHarn at June 19, 2009 1:03 PM

the left also has these crazy theories.

http://www.huppi.com/kangaroo/L-libmedia.htm

Rush Limbaugh explains his success as the result of his individualism, of his refusal to do it someone's else's way. But the fact is that his success has been orchestrated, financed and promoted by Capital Cities/ABC.

see, you're so far to the right you're starting to look like the far left!

"Brandon at June 19, 2009 1:17 PM"

So you're saying that it's OK that the media got a NOBODY elected president and they are now acting as his personal propiganda machine?

Aren't YOU the one who said that Fox News wasn't politicly "balanced"? Or was it some other LIBERAL Hopey McChange cheerleader?

Posted by: KHarn at June 19, 2009 2:49 PM

Brandeen is probably ignorant of Rush's actual biography, so he probably doesn't know that when Rush proposed the idea of a national radio talk show, all of the big time network executives said "No way, it will never work."

Also, all the network promotion in the world can't help you if you're no good at connecting with people and basically suck ... Case in point: Air America. Which also means even if the media had been fair, it wouldn't have helped John McCain. The media helped Obama all they could, but McCain still ran a godawful campaign.

None of which detracts in any way from the fact that ABC (along with NBC, CBS, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, and NPR)willingly serve as nothing but propaganda organs for Obama and the DNC.

Posted by: V the K at June 19, 2009 3:36 PM

Support of an administration that you don't agree with is what makes it propaganda in your eyes.

You'll never see it another way, even once a republican is in office and your news offices are nodding and appeasing. I doubt you ever saw it the other way a few months back. Did you?

You must have been on here daily angered at the Republican propaganda machine, right? Welcome to modern politics whiner.

"got a NOBODY elected president"
Compared to being president, everybody is a nobody beforehand.

"Fox News wasn't politicly "balanced""
No news is balanced these days. The fact that you scream about it doesn't mean that people will think its something new. News hasn't been balanced ever. The events are the events, but how people interpret them will always vary.

"Rush's actual biography"

Hmm, I wasn't aware of it either, but on review, here's the highlights I chose to pay attention to (in a very biased, try not to cry):

College drop out. According to his mother, "he flunked everything", even a modern ballroom dancing class.

His career in talk radio only took off after repeal of the fairness doctrine.

Pain pill addiction - (after ranting endlessly about druggies)

Operation Chaos - no comment

"Barack the Magic Negro"

And here we are today. Thanks for getting me to check out this important man and his history.

No more ABC. Deleted local affiliate. No more GM cars. Not as long as Obama owns it and is fellating the UAW. To hell with them and him.

College drop out.

So was Bill Gates.

Considering the massive damage done to our economy by bankers with Harvard MBA's, an elite degree is nothing to brag about.

His career in talk radio only took off after repeal of the fairness doctrine.

When the government was no longer in a position to regulate political speech on the radio, and people were hungry for an alternative to the one-sided MSM.

Pain pill addiction

Which he received treatment for and overcame several years ago. Funny how these Obama-culties don't hold their coke-using and drug-dealing president to the same standard they hold a talk-show host.

Operation Chaos

Gave Hillary success in several states she otherwise would have lost.

"Barack the Magic Negro"

A phrase initiated by liberal LA Times columnist David Ehrenstein long before Limbaugh used it.

Thanks for providing me an opening to expose your leftist stupidity.

And here we are today. Thanks for getting me to check out this important man and his history.

Support of an administration that you don't agree with is what makes it propaganda in your eyes.

No, it's when the Teleprompter guy swats a fly and the newsreaders gushingly compare him to Michael Jordan and Mr. Myagi that we call it propaganda.

It's when Chris Matthews gets a tingle up his leg and vows to do everything in his power to help Dear Leader succeed that we call it propaganda.

It's when ABCNews gives over an hour of primetime to a one-sided special on ObamaCare and won't allow any dissenting views that we, quite properly, call it propaganda.

It's when Brian Williams gushes like a schoolgirl when Obama gets hamburgers and bows to his Dear Leader that we get the idea the MSM are so deep in the tank for the Teleprompter guy that they need Scuba gear.

And the only thing leftists can come up with in refutation is, "Well, Bush gave FoxNews an interview. That's *exactly* the same thing."

"Support of an administration that you don't agree with is what makes it propaganda in your eyes."

"Support"? I'm talking about the WORSHIP of this token negro! And he IS a "token negro" since it was his COLOR that every one of you Liberal sheeple supported. If he had been WHITE or ORIENTAL, you would have LAUGHED him out of the country.

"You'll never see it another way, even once a republican is in office and your news offices are nodding and appeasing. I doubt you ever saw it the other way a few months back. Did you?"

I'm not a Republican, I'm an OLD-FASHINED Democrat; that is to say, I'm PRE-LIBERAL. But please do tell us about ALL the TV and radio news shows, and newspapers that were fawning over President Bush. Oooo! He killed a FLY! How manly! How "ninja-like"!

Give me a fucking break.

"You must have been on here daily angered at the Republican propaganda machine, right? Welcome to modern politics whiner."

This site is dedicated to the IDIOTS of the world, and is not a mouthpiece for the Republican party. But you seem to think that we are railing against LIBERALS. Yes, LIBERALS like yourself are pretty clueless and destructive of society, so yes, we do talk about your kind a lot.

"Posted by: Anonymous at June 19, 2009 4:06 PM"

"got a NOBODY elected president"
"Compared to being president, everybody is a nobody beforehand."

Really? Then tell me what qualified him for the job. Why did YOU vote for him? Why do you rush to his defence?

"Fox News wasn't politicly "balanced""
"No news is balanced these days. The fact that you scream about it doesn't mean that people will think its something new. News hasn't been balanced ever. The events are the events, but how people interpret them will always vary."

Then why has a certain "anonymous" kept railing against Fox and demanding that it have more LIBERALS on the air?

It's best to be skeptical of all the news and all the blogs, all the ideologies and all the religions.

Especially your own.

Yes-- and FOX news is an arm of RIGHT wing. Idiots! What are you trying to say?! "I'm mad! We have FOX and you have ABC!!" All you guys do is complain about how unfairly the media treats you. You have been doing since Nixon was president. blah blah blah. Enough already. Why don't you try to get the media on you side with more progressive, less "ayatollah-like" thoughts. "Rushatollah"!!!

Posted by: paget at June 20, 2009 8:34 AM

Why don't you try to get the media on you side with more progressive, less "ayatollah-like" thoughts.

Oxymoron.

Oh, and by the way, we're not saying "We have FOX and you have ABC!!" ABC is just one example. It's more like, "We have FOX (some of the time; they still make an attempt at balance), and you have ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, PBS (that we get to pay for), The New York Times, LA Times, Huffington Post, AP, Reuters, the staff of most internet search engines... all of which wear out two, maybe three pairs of kneepads a month over at the White House and often have trouble praising Dear Leader while they're gagging."

Posted by: hiram at June 20, 2009 9:58 AM

hiram- you also have Rush. YOUR dear leader. Your idols are actors (Reagan, Ventura, Schwarzenegger). Your leaders are Palin? Newt, Cheney? Come on man! How are you going to change peoples minds with those crusty old guys in charge? The youth will never vote to turn the clock back to the 80's and they way things used to be. It's like the Taliban taking it back to the 15th century.

Posted by: paget at June 20, 2009 10:22 AM

Once again, a liberal troll puts words in my mouth, and then argues against them instead of me. It's called a "straw-man" arguement, and it's the hallmark of people who have nothing against the original point.

Rush is not my leader, I never said he was. Neither are my idols actors. Reagan I idolize as a leader, but his movies kinda stank. Ventura is a blowhard (like Rush), and Ahnold is a RINO if ever there was one. Palin will make a decent leader with a little more mileage, but I never like Newt much, and Cheney has had liberals flinging their monkey-shit at him for so long I doubt he's good for anything other than being a target (regardless of his policies).

Blathering on about "progress" while regressing us to an essentially feudal state (with bureaucrats replacing the manor lords) is what I see going on in my country, and it rightly pisses me off. The "youth" will never vote for the intelligent choice as long as they're indoctrinated with collectivism from birth; that's why people tend to jump the fence to our side as they get older. Experience forces one to re-examine one's beliefs, especially when that experience proves in very real terms that you've been bullshitted since high school

Oh, and as for Reagan... I admire him now, now that I'm older and understand more about how the world works and learned to think for myself. In 1984, I was a good little liberal idiot & actually worked on Dukakis' campaign. As I'm doubt you were around in 1984, let me tell you "the way things used to be"... they were pretty good. Optimistic, economy was coming back after the circus side-show of Carter, things were looking up. Wouldn't have known it for all the bitching and whining us leftist kooks put up, though.

So stuff it.
