The Green Jobs Joke
Here's the punch line: each "green" job costs us 2.2 productive jobs.
The fewer jobs, the more we think we need the government. Thus bureaucrats are motivated to drive up the unemployment rate with their antihuman environmentalist insanity. They have to break our legs first, before we'll be grateful to have them hand us a crutch.
On a tip from The MaryHunter.

It isn't hard to imagine what historians a thousand years from now will be writing about on the causes of the collapse of civilization.

I had a moonbat on Twitter telling me that he welcomes those fewer non-green jobs. When I told him that his taxes would necessarily be raised to pay for all those unemployed non-green workers he was thrilled, wanted everyone to have high-taxed green jobs and large welfare state.
Just no sense in reasoning with a turd.

If it's so thrilling, why doesn't he move to Spain? They have a lovely 18% unemployment for him to thrill over. They also have one of the most pessimistic populations on the planet. About 2% of them think "things will be better in the future." Probably the 2% who once dreamt of moving to the States.
The fellow on TV seemed reasonable enough. I've never forgiven them though for their dhimmi election after the terror attack. I don't do business with them. I don't drink Amandillado and I don't each octopus.

The Spanish guy looks like Mulder from X files haha. Seriously though, why can't people just see this environmental earth-worshiping cult for what it is; a chance for government to rule us with an iron fist. My university recently had a 'green job fair' day. You can bet I was no where near that.

If we keep this up, they will write that it was the will of Allah.

No Doubt Forest - it's like the muslim version of crusaders...except instead of charging in, they are creeping up, burying us from within.

nobody gets this - my husband's been in alternative energy for a number of years - if it takes 200 men to build a wind farm over a period of a couple of years - when it's all said and done, they only need perhaps 15-20 people to maintain it. same goes for other alternative power. once in awhile there will be an "emergency outtage" and they drag a big crew in for a couple of weeks.
alternative energy is only good in the sense it outsources PEOPLE!

This is an example of the real reason the Left hates Glenn Beck -- he presents the facts and thus exposes the dishonesty and fantasy on which their agenda rests.
