Pelousy's in a Tailspin Over Phony Waterboarding Scandal

Recently Democrats and their mainstream media enablers have been plumbing new depths by hyping the phony waterboarding scandal. This accomplishes numerous apparent objectives, which make sense only if the Left is evil and insane. It casts the USA as the bad guys and the terrorists as put-upon victims. It provides propaganda support for radical Islam and encourages future terrorists, who are assured not only that America deserves to be punished, but that it is now too weak even to interrogate them if they're captured. It puts at risk potentially millions of citizens, who could be killed in terror attacks that might be avoided if we were as concerned with defending the country as with avoiding prosecution by the treasonous fanatics running Washington. It supposedly makes the Bush Administration look bad for saving thousands of innocent American lives by foiling an attack on the Brooklyn Bridge by way of waterboarding the mastermind of 9/11.
But it has come to light that Dems were in on the waterboarding from the beginning, and this whole despicable farce is now blowing up in Nancy Pelosi's ghastly botoxed face. Her shrill screams that the CIA lied to her are fooling no one, and she has been forced to admit that she knew about the waterboarding six years ago. Her defense is that she was too busy taking over Washington on behalf of the cancer known as the Democrat Party to do anything about it — and besides, Bush lied people died.
Sooner or later, we're going to get tired of Code Pink types running the federal government. Regarding her disastrous press conference today, even WaPo says:
Make no mistake: Pelosi would not have held this sort of press conference unless she and her inner circle believed that she was losing altitude — politically — on the issue. But, her decision to do so could have wide-ranging political implications that will reach from Congress to the White House and back.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if Dems finally paid a price for consistently and deliberately sinking to the lowest depths imaginable to undermine American interests?
On a tip from Varla.

I truly hope that this LIE gets her fired. Anything to get this power hungry kakistocratic wench out of the house.

The truth that Granny Rictus Botox will never admit is her party has used the waterboarding issue solely as a political football. Their behavior is entirely driven by a lust for political power. Ethics and morality don't even enter into it... much less honesty...

NOW she's on the hot seat. Lying bitch! I too hope that she gets fired as house speaker and then voted out of office.

in addition.... this may be just the beginning of the showing of the liberal, evil administrations true faces. Remember, a liar is always caught eventually....and they are ALL liars.

I sure hope that America wakes up from the Obama hang over in 2010 and vote these lying bums out and keep this socialist in check. Pelosi is a prime example of what the Dems are all about. May she reap what she has sown.

The audio of her response to questions reminded me of a story a cop neighbor told us:
He was testifying in a child custody case and the wife (A mob whore) was telling her side, filling it with a load of lies, inuendo, accusations and "poor-ol-mes". When the plaintif's lawyer stood up to object, the judge said: "Sir down. We know the little lady is lying, but if she talks long enough, we'll get to the truth."
After almost a minute of stunned silence, she changed her story.

Does she realize how crazy her accusations make her sound?
"The CIA lied to us"
"The CIA is trying to frame me"
Statements like this would get a lesser mortal a stay in a room with soft walls.

Queen Botoxia is definitely standing in the dog's business on this one. It's gonna tough to weasel off this hook, even with the MSM running interference for her.

Hmm, I thought you guys supported torture, or, uh, enhanced interrogations. I've heard a lot of praise for King George for protecting us for 7.5 years while flogging her for opposing him. Come to find out, assuming you're all correct that she's lying, she's been on your side all along. What gives?
If there's one thing we should have learned from the Bush and Clinton years is that if you're not under oath, you're suppose to lie.

Pelosi image for a future Open Thread.
So, Andy manages to blame Bush for his Grandma Nanny lying to public, and making a national security issue into a political football. That's some primo moonbattery.
Way to go, Andy. Defend your cult at the cost of any shred of your own credibility. Good little Democrat!

I support enhanced interrogation. But when you approve of it, then say you didn't for political expediency, lie about it and throw blame to make others look bad instead of owning up when you're caught in that lie, that's a whole different ball of wax. This so-called "torture" is a rallying cry by the left to denounce the prior administration, and get people to go along with the democrats' dismantling of everything Bush put in place, whether it works or not. "Oh, Bush put this in place, so it must be bad no matter what."
It's a tenet of the left, agree with something as long as nobody knows you agree with it, then if someone finds out or your agreement becomes unfashionable, do all you can to distance yourself from taking any responsibility for your own actions, and lie, lie, lie.

And Seamus, the stupidest part of that is they think they're getting away with it. It's so obvious. I really don't know how any of them look in a mirror or sleep at night.
Just look at Nancy with her statement pages "out of order." A TOTUS moment. If you speak honestly from the heart, you don't need prepared statements to keep your lies straight.
Posted by: Karin at May 15, 2009 7:13 AM
Karin, I completely agree. It was hilarious watching her sputter and shake trying to keep her story straight.
The reason they think they're getting away with it is because they think ALL of us (their supporters included) are too stupid to figure it out. And when we call them out on it, they take Alinsky's advice and use ridicule to try to marginalize anyone who opposes them. The old lefty tactic of personally attacking the individual when they have no facts to back up their argument. No principled stands, no honor.
Posted by: Seamus at May 15, 2009 7:43 AM
Also, I didn't see anything about it on cnn.com, and on msnbc.com, they gave her a puff piece saying Pelosi "raised the stakes" on the situation.

Because she opposed him publicly, and we didn’t know all this then?
Because she got up on her high horse about “torture,” but now we find out that she’d known about the “torture” all along, and had no problem with “torture” until she figured out she could use for political gain?

Clinton lied even when under oath, and testifying to Federal grand juries

VK, ur a funny person. Your response makes no sense. I'm not defending anyone. I'm just saying that it appears that Nancy seems to support the very tactics that you guys have been defending. Ok, she seems to be lying but what's new?
Maybe the problem is that you guys don't have a clue as to what you even want. I mean, you're against torture but approve of enhanced interrogations. That is of course unless it's determined to actually be torture and then it's ok because it has kept us safe for 7.5 years, plus they're savages and cut our heads off anyways. Of coarse, enhanced interrogations doesn't really make sense because no seasoned warrior would cave to such mild treatment. Then again, anyone tortured would have the common sense to tell whatever was needed to hear, like Ibn al-Shaykh al-Libi. His false info did help build the imaginary link between Saddam and bin Ladin that allowed Bush to build a case that Iraq had something to do with 9/11.
But all that's irrelevant. With a name like Bush or Cheney attached to it, it's gotta be good right? You really can't draw a line as to what you want. You're too blind to party loyalty and too filled with hatred to the opposing party to see anything other than what you want to see. You can't even see that Pelosi appears to have gone along with what you guys wanted. I find it appalling. But at least I have a reason. You guys just search for reasons.
Posted by: andy42302 at May 15, 2009 11:43 AM
Jay, it's interesting that you're still crying over Clinton lying under oath about his sexual shenanigans but it's fine and dandy for Bush to pardon Libby over lying under path about much serious matters. Again, blind loyalty is all you guys can see.

"I'm just saying that it appears that Nancy seems to support the very tactics that you guys have been defending. Ok, she seems to be lying but what's new?"
Nancy has publicly denounced enhanced interrogation techniques for YEARS and she and other top Congressional leaders called Bush every name in the book for using these techniques. I would have no problem with Pelosi if she had supported these procedures but the fact that she knew about them at the time, only worried if we were doing enough, and only condemned them when it became politically expedient. She now tells at the latest count 5 different versions of the truth and when cornered blames the CIA for lying to her when she got caught telling her tall tales. She is attacking an Agency whose employees have risked and have lost their lives keeping us safe so she can protect her political career, the woman has no sense decency.

"She is attacking an Agency whose employees have risked and have lost their lives keeping us safe so she can protect her political career,"
And let's not forget CIA employees (Plame for example) that risk there lives for not protecting the political careers of some people.

Um, andy, i think you need to do some reading on the plame case. Your meme is a bit out of date.
