Michael Savage Banned From Britain
They ought to issue a medal to accompany the honor of being banned from the rotting carcass of what was once Great Britain. Geert Wilders would be wearing it, in recognition of his courage in speaking out against the Islamization of Europe. Now immensely popular talk show host Michael Savage would too.
Quacks Home Secretary Jacqui Smith:
Coming to this country is a privilege. If you can't live by the rules that we live by, the standards and the values that we live by, we should exclude you from this country and, what's more, now we will make public those people that we have excluded.
Here's what the damp little rodents running Britain have against Savage:
This is someone who has fallen into the category of fomenting hatred, of such extreme views and expressing them in such a way that it is actually likely to cause inter-community tension or even violence if that person were allowed into the country.
By the cowardly euphemism "inter-community tension," she means, "we won't let him in the country because Muslims might not like it." Savage has fought a long legal battle with the Hamas front group CAIR, which like its liberal allies wants his voice silenced.

Wow, how nice. Why can't we ban certain people from coming into the USA? How about we ban illegals from coming into the USA? and terrorists?

Reason No. 135 or so for my having written Britain off long ago. Won't visit, don't really do any business with them. People like Jacqui Smith make my skin crawl.

Michael Savage is the true voice of freedom in America. He's brilliant, honest and to the point. I guess sometimes the truth hurts. Not all of us in Illinois are liberals......We love ya here in Chicago Mike, and we know you'll never back down!

Michael Savage I would like to shake your hand.

The case could be made that Savage is being kept out of the UK because he is a Jew, as well.
Nothing offends Muslims more than a Jew.
Or a Christian.

Its bad enough that Britain will have a mooslim majority population in 50 years, but do they have to kiss their arses on the way to the gallows?
Posted by: JamesJ at May 5, 2009 1:00 PM
Y'know who else is excluded? Yunis Al Astal, Hamas MP. Who else? Samir Al Quntar, radical Egyptian preacher. Funny how you seemed to have focused on just one person, to the exclusion of the rest of the list.
Do you know whose defending Michael Savages' right to enter the UK? Inayat Bunglawala, member of the Muslim Council of Britain, who says that people should be free to enter the UK as long as they don't break the law.
And 'Jack' is the most popular boys name in Britain. I understand how you could have mistaken this for Mohammad, they do share one letter.
Britain have a majority Muslim population in 50 years? Not according to any demographic prediction. Anywhere. And demographic prediction tend to work to the nearest 5 million people or so, which is nice and accurate.

Britain has absolutely and unashamedly gone to hell.
Won't be going back for any further visits I'm afraid. This has just iced the cake for me.
....and it's almost impossible to believe that they were once a great nation.

Ben @ 1:30pm...
Why don't you add your last name: Laden?
Posted by: Dixie Normous at May 5, 2009 5:16 PM
I don't agree with Savage being banned.
However, Savage is no friend of free speech. Despite Savage painting himself as a champion of free speech, he is anything but. He took the organisation CAIR to court to prevent them from using snippets of his show on their website. Had Savage prevailed, free speech would have lessened for us all. See:

Doesn't this ban violate Savage's UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights that they made up?
Posted by: Anonymous at May 5, 2009 5:42 PM
Tony, and CAIR are suppossed to be champions of free speech? Please. CAIR was using Savage's intellectual property without his permission, snippets of his syndicated radio program without the express written consent of The Savage Nation is prohibited blah blah blah. Bring CAIR up on RICO statutes.

Anonymous at May 5, 2009 5:42 PM:
Please read up on the "Fair Use" Doctrine.
Look, I'm no fan of CAIR's but I'll defend their right to free speech. They had every right to use snippets of Savage's copyrighted material without his permission; that's the law. Indeed, without the "Fair Use" Doctrine, every cable news show would be breaking the law every time they showed you a snippet of this or that show.
Please read up on the Doctrine and you'll see that it is Savage who has everyone hookwinked by pretending he is defending free speech when he is doing the opposite.

Well, if my last name was Laden, surely I'd been hiding away in Afghanistan somewhere, watching ineffectual American troops try to find me? Eight years and the mastermind of the 9/11 butchery is still free? Great work team!
Posted by: Ben at May 6, 2009 1:40 AM
ROTFLMAO!! Anon is pretending to care about the constitution. ;-) Apparently he hasn't heard, since you libs got your BOY in office you don't even pretend now, so you can drop it moron. We all know better here!

"Well, if my last name was Laden, surely I'd been hiding away in Afghanistan somewhere, watching ineffectual American troops try to find me? Eight years and the mastermind of the 9/11 butchery is still free? Great work team!"
If you half-wit "ineffectual" liberals weren't trying to read him his rights his hide would be hanging on our flagpole now! Ben you say that "mastermind" with such adoration, shouldn't you be in Afghanistan kissing his feet right now? America has never had a loss that wasn't caused by Democrats. Our "TEAM" has done an excellent job, everything they can that hasn't been hamstrung by liberals! you want blame - LOOK IN THE MORROR!

MIRROR
Posted by: TED at May 6, 2009 7:39 AM
Well, mastermind was the word used by Bush, Cheney, Obama, Clinton et al, and he did plan it, sooo...I suppose butchery is too soft a word too? When in doubt, attack someone's patriotism!
It's pretty easy to say that Democrats have lost every war for America, when there's no way of proving that happened - what exactly would you have done differently, were it not for the nebulous undermining of unnamed liberals?
What your saying is, when the Republicans had the presidency and both houses of Congress (so, until 2006), Bin Laden was literally on the cusp of being captured (after some five years), and then, as soon as the Democrats became the majority, Bin Laden some how escaped our grasp? Those five years weren't enough, apparently. How many caves are there in Afganistan anyway?
Oh, and I agree with you when you say that liberals want to read him his rights. That exactly what we want to do. This does rather imply that we want to catch him though, to be able to read him his rights - shame the conservative government of the last eight years has failed so miserably on that front...still, mission accomplished though!

Look how this British Secretary spells her first name-enough said?

We may even get a tantrum from this one???
The United States of America grants us the opportunity to say what we feel and broadcast our beliefs. Unfortunately we have to extend this right to citizens like Michael Savage. Michael Savage has flashed his education like a badge to justify his idiotically sad ideas. I have the same level of education and have been very fortunate in life. I was not born that way I simply made this happen for myself and my family. I applaud Dr. Savage for his achievements and stand up for his right to freedom of speech. I am simply expressing my right to the same freedom. For the thousands of Americans who stand behind Dr. Savage, my heart goes out to you, you will never be allowed a moment to speak to your idol, for he loves to hear his voice to much to let you speak. For that matter my heart goes out to Dr. Savage. I cannot imagine living with so much hatred and disdain for everything in this life. Dr. Savage was fortunate enough to grasp a late night spot on national radio, thus allowing him to share this pessimistic view with all who listen.
I have to say BRAVO To the Brits, as well as Dr. Savage. Very well played The Brits have done what they feel is right but have now given this personality a huge amount of free publicity. I do love the way all media works, no press is bad press. I got exactly what I expected from Dr. Savage. A yelling tantrum on national radio and a milking of this incident to the last drop BRAVO Doc I would love the opportunity to allow my two year old to join you one evening during one of his tantrums, although we may not be able to tell you two apart. We better get a strategy before we do that.
Dr. Savage is neither a leader nor anyone who should ever be granted anything more than, the creator of good radio drama. His show is simply radios version of the overdramatized and overacted reality shows we so love today. Anger and tantrums create a captive audience, and there is no one better to deliver those great acting skills as our Dr. Savage. I Thank God that our nations majority would never allow such a negative pessimistic person to lead our country, and I wish for Dr. Savage that he finds a more pleasant life and dedicates his national power of persuasion to a more positive approach.
"Put the spoon down, Dr. Savage, and leave the pot alone, we don't need anyone else to stir it, but if we do, we know who is best fit for that task"
