Hoax Whore Hansen Calls Cap and Trade a "Temple of Doom"

Blind squirrel James Hansen — a hysterical global warming profiteer who has repeatedly pushed phony data while advocating prison sentences for those who question the "climate change" farce — has finally found a nut:

Why is this cap-and-trade temple of doom worshipped? The 648 page cap-and-trade monstrosity that is being foisted on the U.S. Congress provides the answer. Not a single Congressperson has read it. They don't need to — they just need to add more paragraphs to support their own special interests. By the way, the Congress people do not write most of those paragraphs— they are "suggested" by people in alligator shoes [i.e., lobbyists].

Hansen goes on to mutter darkly about "those who want the process mystified, so they can make millions trading, speculating, and gaming the system at public expense."

True enough, cap and trade will have no effect whatsoever on the allegedly imperiled climate. The sole purpose is to increase control and revenues for the government, and to funnel money into the coffers of appallingly corrupt corporations like NBC's pernicious owner, General Electric.

But it isn't as if Hansen has suddenly gone sane. Instead of the cap and trade charade, he demands we raise energy prices to the point where almost no one can afford transportation or electricity, and then live like the Flintstones — or else we're all really, really doomed.

Not even Crap and Charade will cause enough economic damage to suit Hansen.

And he'll fly anywhere in the world by private jet to deliver this message.

He's right; cap and trade will be thoroughly coopted by speculators, who will game the system and extract $billions in profits out of it - i.e. our taxpayer money. It's just part of the ongoing looting of the middle class by Democrats, no different than health care reform, credit card reform, automotive industry reform, ad nauseam. It all follows the same path back to confiscation of middle class wealth.

From those according to their ability. Cap and trade payors. (producers)

To those according to their need. Cap and trade profiteers. (politicians)

I have never seen a clearer example taken directly from the pages of Atlas Shrugged.

"Crap and charade" - another Democrat boondoggle to grow the alimentary canal known as the federal government off the backs of productive people.

Didn't "the chief" in The Outlaw Josie Wales warn us about the hazards of believing "the double-tounges" in Washington?

They do mention Stand (Or was it "Stan"?) Waddie who became a Confederate General.

From what planet did that creep come from?

Hansen is just jealous that Al Gore is making millions off the carbon trading business and he (Hansen) didn't get in at the "ground floor".

Or maybe Hansen is jealous of Al Gore's mansion and his awards.
