Government Motors Reveals 2010 Chevy Silverado
This moonbatmobile runs on coffee grounds:

Putting left-wing kooks in charge of the auto industry is sure to produce some interesting models — though nothing anyone in their right mind would want to drive.
On a tip from Air2air.

Now that Dear Leader has nationalized the finance and auto industries, and is looking to do the same with health care and energy... can we stop this nonsense about how he's not really a socialist? Please.

Actually V I think with his allies in academia and the press it may be more accurate to describe this government as fascist.

Did you notice the license tag? Where else. Californication.

It won't matter whether "anyone in their right mind would want to drive" their creations. There will be no alternative.

More likely the car of Obamaland will be more like transport in Cuba. Mass transportation will be converted cattle cars, old cars will be fitted with crappy ass motors and quite a few cars will be sawed-off things that have horses or mules pulling them.

There will soon be more cars sitting on blocks in front yards in Detroit than what will come off Detroit assembly lines.

Look at it this way, with 2 of the largest automakers essentially worthless now, the rest of the auto industry will be able recover a little faster.

Hey, I think it's kinda cute!! (And where's a picture of the guy who made this?)
On the other hand, I like hauling a bunch of crap around... and I miss my old SUV, which died on me and I replaced with a car (trying to save money on gas). ~

Well, Ford is still nominally independent... although now in its labor contracts, it has to negotiate with the same unions that own its competitors. Which would be a powerful incentive for Ford to pull its manufacturing out of North America entirely.
