I don't care whether the Google people manage their lawn with livestock, power mowers, a team of grim reapers with scythes, or go out there and eat the grass themselves, but they should not get goats to do it, because goats are browsers not grazers, and they won't eat grass unless they have nothing else to eat and get pretty hungry.

UNLESS these are ecogreen goats that merely pluck the grass with their teeth and then deposit it in underground vaults where the dastardly CO2 can never enter the atmosphere AND they eat carbon neutral goat chow (not too much of course, because OTHER goats don't have enough goat chow) AND they poop in ecogreen washable diapers made from sustainable-harvested hemp or some other fiber AND their farts are harvested to power ecogreen office space AND the farts are all appropriately taxed...

Anyone who remembers my occasional comments and hat tips here knows that I'm no liberal. Keeping that in mind, I would like to point out that I plan on having sheep take care of my grass when I retire in the country.

Why, you ask? Because I plan on giving as little of my money as possible to OPEC. I'm firmly convinced that we fund our own terrorism problem by buying oil because money circulates. It doesn't sit in some shiekh's vault below his desert castle. The only reason they have any money over there at all is because of the oil we buy from them. And then we spend even more money to fight them via the military, CIA, NSA, FBI, etc.

I live only a few miles from work, bicycle when I can, use a pushmower, and have a small car. Not because the Obamessiah or some hypocritical a-hole from Hollywierd tells me to, but because I don't want to give one red cent to Hugo Chavez or some Saudi madrassa.

I realize that. But they can be correct on something occasionally, even if it's for all of the wrong reasons.

I've always thought that it would be great to have goats to cut the grass as it is one of my least favorite things to do, followed closely by maintaining the two cylinder, fire belching, 18 horsepower lawn Cadillac that I mow my .25 acre lawn with. Someday maybe, but until then I'll just buy the fuel at Walmart because their oil comes from American sources. And as for climate change everybody but the Obamunists' know that is a lie.

Panday, my ex's grandfather used sheep on his orange grove in the Middle East. They let the sheep munch around the trees, then do what they do, resulting in huge, delicious oranges. You may want to plant some in your retirement.

Apparently the liberals know nothing about goats (or anything else) GOATS will eat the grass down to the roots, eventually they will have large patches of MUD. Now that is funny!!
