Found: Beneficiaries of Obama's CAFE Standards
I thought no one would benefit from the untimely dictate by Comrade Obama, Chairman of Government Motors, that American cars must be made still more unappealing and dangerous for the sake of absurdly high gas mileage that would be unnecessary if we were just allowed to drill our own oil. But I was forgetting about morticians:

GM and Chrysler are the really big losers because from now on I will only buy cars from companies that didn't take bailout money, and i'm not alone!

Honda has plants in the US and so does Toyota. GM is filing for bankruptcy Monday. What happened to all that bailout money?

Ford won't last long competing with Gov't Motors.
Buy a putzmobile and get a 50% tax credit.
Buy a Ford and the IRS shows up at your house.
The gov't is way too stupid to cut production when sales drop off. Selling cars isn't their goal, keeping the UAW working is! So they'll produce cars governed by the unemployment rate not demand. Lots of orange and yellow cars sitting on Kansas acreage.
Cuba and Africa are going to get a lot of almost free schmuckmobiles under the label 'Foreign Aid'.
Maybe we can get some '58 Chevys back? Ya think?

And don't be fooled; Toyota and Honda have been bailed out by the Japanese government too, and the US bailout is a byproduct of the automakers saying "no" to the govermnent's CAFE mandate to produce microcars.
Two and a half years of social engineering have led to this bankruptcy. Obama's real goal is to ban family cars.
