Actually, the main article says 62% of Republicans think she is not telling the complete truth - the rest may have just hung up the phone. There is no information on the wording of the poll - which is often used to skew results. I dont trust Rasmussen as much. as Gallup.

For the life of me, I cannot understand why there is any doubt about whether Pelosi is telling the truth. If her (latest) story was anywhere close to the truth, it would have been her first story on the issue, not her fourth.

I say go after Pelosi if she lied so be it I'm not going to prejudge her either way and I won't prejudge the torture accusations either but lets have a full investigation so that we know what's true and what isn't.

Everybody has it backwards. Let us know if Pelosi ever tells the truth about anything and then let's investigate and find out why--obviously something will be very wrong. Perhaps a rip in the space-time continuum and a warp across dimensions or it will be an omen of coming disaster and a sign of the end times.

It's not that 62% believe she's truthful. That many people can't be stupid--even democrats. It's that they're defiant and want to stand by her, so they are being dishonest in their answer to the pollster. And after all, the apples don't fall far from the tree.
