This government wasting pisses me off to no end. Do these fascists have any idea how hard it is to earn a buck these days? How many long hard hours of blood, sweat and tears has Obama stolen from you and me, and wasted on useless crap like this? GRRRR!!!!

This is waking me up to the concept that if you get elected you can literally rape the Federal treasury to buy for votes from your constituency. And obviously to the tune of hundreds of millions and probably billions.

It's like a license to embezzle and get paid for it.

Ever been to Johnstown? I have. You haven't missed much.
Hell, my hometown in Montana gets the EAS service. And for almost a year it had none. Big Sky folded with Jet A at 4 plus bucks a gallon.

Ever drive through a nice neighborhood and wonder what do all these people do to afford such nice homes and luxuries?
Some of this property you see is purchased through millions and millions of dollars given to worthless state government employees.

Here's a common scenario:
In NY you get a government job with bonuses, promotions full health care and pension, retire early (sometimes ~40 or earlier) following another last-minute promotion so your retirement benefits increase, with bonus, and then qualify under the "only qualified person" for a post-"retirement" job with starting bonus, full benefits and salary. Stay with that system your entire unproductive working life and you pretty much have it made.

Murtha is a despicable bag of rancid grease, but worrying about local pennies while ignoring state dollars won't cut it.

Trimming down expensive government welfare jobs that extort money from free-market earners to create wealth for thousands of brainless people would be a better place to focus.

I lived in Johnstown for 10 years, my father was the commnader of a Nike Hercules antiaircraft battalion that defended the steel mills. Murtha lived down the street. My dad called him an asshole in 1963. No one in their right minds flies to Johnstown airport. Even the locals today would rather drive to Washington DC and fly than fly from this dangerous ill sited airport.

He recently said that if he is corrupt it is becuase he cares about his district. This guy was Pelosi's pick to be the majority leader in the House.
