She's taking it head on so maybe we'll get a chance to see the truth, one way or the other. It's a shame you let your partisanship prejudge the case before all the evidence comes to light.

She can’t say that, Brandon. Her attendance at the briefings is on the record, and she’d previously alluded to attending them, but being “misled.” Then Panetta – a fellow Dem, btw - produced the contemporaneously generated memos to file on what was presented at those briefings, and those memos contradicted her version of events, making clear that she was lying through her teeth. Basically, she’s caught red-handed.

Her miscalculation was in not realizing that the CIA wrote those memos to file, obviously haven taken the measure of Pelosi’s integrity, and foreseeing the need to protect themselves against any future prevarication on her part.

Bottom line: she was perfectly OK with the whole thing at the time, then realized she could whip up the issue to partisan advantage, but went too far in her accusations and provoked pusback from the CIA.

And Larson’s defense puts me in mind of the Mark Twain quote, “Why does God let such people exist, with lightning so cheap?”

If only we could elect Pelosi's little finger and send the rest of her lying self packing.
