Weave Your Own Coffin
For the eco-moonbat with a morbid streak:
It's one thing to consider an eco-friendly burial, but it's quite another to plan for it by building — or in this case — weaving your own coffin.
Such is the idea behind a new course being offered by Musgrove Willows — a UK supplier of natural willows for basketweaving and courses on how to use them. Last weekend's "Weave Your Own Coffin" course ($500) was booked solid. The idea is that you use the final product in the meantime as a blanket box.
Another option for environmentalists on a budget: when you're about ready to croak, just crawl into your compost pile.

On a tip from Air2air.

To bad when they decompose they will be releasing carbon into the atmosphere.

I actually think it's a pretty good idea. If I got good enough at it, I could sell it to enviros for a tidy profit. I'll bet there are tons of lazy moonbats out there that would rather pay than make one themselves.

I always tell people who are coughing up a lung "Stop Coughin' or I'll put you in one." Ok, I dont, but thats what Im thinking.

The worms can get to you sooner, but they will be getting less fiber

Son of a preacher: I followed your second link. Can you imagine being the loved ones left behind to deal with this? It would be like putting a kids bike together on Christmas eve, or the various adventures in assembly my husband and I have done, resulting in swearing and cracking open of beers out of sheer frustration.
The loved ones would say, "Oh to hell with it" and opt for cremation or something. Or the compost pile.

What's your problem with this one? The death industry is generally a giant rip-off. Most people don't like to plan for death, and when death happens you generally have to deal with it in a hurry. This translates to high prices for things like coffins. These people are planning ahead and being frugal. There isn't a single thing wrong with this.

Actually, you're right and I have no problem with the idea. HOWEVER, I just hope they don't have to MOVE the bodys!
