Van,
From the blizzard of recent posts, I suspect that you are finding a target rich hunting field in this administration. It is like going hunting chickens in a hen house with a shotgun. You can blast the damn things right on the nest--egg yolk dripping feathers flying and lots of dust with dead chickens everywhere.
The whole bunch seem absolutely hell bent on being worse than any parody, crazier than any prediction, and sillier than any spoof. It is our bad luck that it is is our life and future that they are screwing up forever. They have proved that one can't go wrong trying to underestimate the intelligence of the American voter.

The only ones who still support Obongma are the ones who are either drunk on the Kool-Aid or ...those that really do loathe America.

Red light cameras...
Supposed to cut down on accidents. And sort-of do, about 10-20 per cent, for being broadsided in the intersection: for rear-end collisions when brakes slammed on, nazzomuch.
Possibly in response to stories about the yellow-light interval being shortened ("inadvertently", hah!) Georgia passed a law that by 2010 the yellow nust last an additional second.
In locales which have already complied, the result seems to be about an 80 per cent reduction in accidents.
Alas, it also means a corresponding in taffic-light-camera revenue, as pointed out by Atlanta which city does not want to increase the yellow...
*Extended Yellow Law*
Hmm, revenue vs saving lives, what to do...

You know, Obama is an idiot, but he can't get much worse right?
Obama says negotiating is easy if it's just Franklin Roosevelt and Winston Churchill in a room, talking over brandy.

From the article linked by VtheK above:
"With her was Benedict O’Looney, 42, an architect from Peckham in South London... He said: “We are here because we are so relieved that there is now a breath of progressive wind blowing over from the United States. It’s the least we could do to be here and say, ‘Yeah!’."
I just couldn't resist.

Was it more appropriate protocol when President Bush winked at the queen or when his father vomited on the Prime Minister of Japan? You people are just sad. Please evolve! Why don't you do something to help your community, (eg. volunteer work, assist the elderly), like good Christians should instead of spewing hate on the internet.

You're comparing Obama's idiocy with winking at the Queen of England and puking on the P.M. of Japan?
Dang, he sucks a whole lot more than I thought!
Posted by: cowlove at April 2, 2009 4:33 PM
We do it because we're RAAACCCIISSTT!!!!!!
That's got to be the only logical explanation for our displeasure with the new administration.
And of course, we obviously have NEVER done anything to assist our fellow man. Ya' know, 'cuz we comment on a website.
Heretical troglodytes to a one.
Yep, that's us...

Anon, should we do like the liberal scum that you likely support and take real hatred to the streets, destroying both public and private property.

Oh, and please find a new catch phrase that doesn't involve "spew" or "hate".
I like originality and freshness in my opponants...
Posted by: Evil Monk at April 2, 2009 4:43 PM
I've never condoned or participated in the destruction of public or private property, but you automatically assume I have as well as my political persuasion, thus proving my point. I never brought race into the discussion either. You can evolve by accepting this may not be your choice for a leader, but the hand has been dealt. Yes, perhaps "spewing hate" is a bit hackneyed. How about being inane, ill-informed and insular? Why not turn a negative into a positive and get through it by productive means. Okay, Mr. Evil Monk. Consider purchasing a dictionary. Such a worthy opponent! But I will still pray for you all.

Why not turn a negative into a positive and get through it by productive means.
Ok, I'll bite. What sort of productive means would you deem appropriate for resisting leadership we don't agree with?
Posted by: cowlove at April 2, 2009 5:25 PM
It's similar to working under a supervisor you don't respect or agree with. The job can still get done even if people don't like one another. Help out local families who are out of work with carpooling, food bank donations, church groups who support the elderly always need time from local people. I remember reading that a veteran in his eighties froze to death in his home in MI last January after the power company shut off his heat. I check on elderly folks in my neighborhood during inclement weather. Things are certainly bad in the world but we can still make an impact with small efforts locally.

ANONYMOUS;
It is perfectly clear that you are demanding that we SHUT UP and STOP DISAGREEING with your tin god. The fact that you are just saying it as gently as you can doesn't make it any more attractive to us.
Maybe you can answer a question that other Liberals have ignored:
"Why should we be Liberals?"
Why not tell us why YOU became a Liberal?

Let's move on and still be decent to each other. Never told anyone to shut up. Speak all you want! I encourage it. It's your constitutional right. You, establishing your "bonafides" through foolishness like:
I'm not a liberal folks! Voted for McCain, but I've accepted that he didn't win. I support the death penalty and think gun control is a waste of time. What is the point on dwelling on it.
And then making yourself a martyr and sage adviser at the same time, especially considering your earlier posts:
Let's move on and still be decent to each other. Never told anyone to shut up. Speak all you want! I encourage it. It's your constitutional right. You seem to be the one who wants to silence my opinions.

when his father vomited on the Prime Minister of Japan?
Dear Moron, Bush Sr. had apparently just had a minor stroke, after which vomiting is common. In any case, one can’t help being sick. If the Messiah should ralph on someone, would you criticize Him?
Why don't you do something to help your community, (eg. volunteer work, assist the elderly), like good Christians should instead of spewing hate on the internet.
Disagreeing with someone does not in and of itself constitute hate. And btw, no one can touch a Democrat for spewing hate. No one. Ask Clarence Thomas, Condoleeza Rice, or Michelle Malkin about that.
Please grow up and put leftist politics behind you. As Churchill (the real one, not that faux Indian skidmark) said, “A fool at 40 is a fool indeed.”
Posted by: Jay Guevara at April 2, 2009 6:20 PM
Think what you want of me, it's the truth. It really does not matter in the end. I believe there is still hope for this country no matter who leads it. If I disagree with current policy I try to make my own changes locally. Dwelling on the past is pointless. Good luck and health to you all.

Actually, our main point is to expose the stupidity of your stupid opinions. Maybe you have some lame idea that all opinions are equal, or some lame idea that no one is allowed to criticize you because you so "courageously" (*snicker*) come 'round to a non-Obama-worshiping blog and anonymously post your little tu quoque comments. (And note, I used that term more or less correctly, unlike anonymous used "straw man" in a previous thread) If you don't like the opinions expressed here, don't read this blog. But don't go around whining like a little bitch when you post snotty little attacks and then get smacked down for it.

Video: Obama snubs British Queen, but bows to Saudi King
President Obama greeted the king of Saudi Arabia with a full bow from the waist yesterday, a move one commentator described as a violation of protocol and not worthy of the office he holds.
"I am quite certain that this is not the protocol, and is most unbecoming a president of the United States," writes Clarice Feldman in an American Thinker commentary.
The situation developed as leaders of the world attending the G20 summit in London assembled for a photograph to mark the event.
In this first image, after the king extended his hand while Obama approached, Obama bends from the waist until his head is nearly at the monarch's waist:

Posted by: Anonymous at April 2, 2009 7:55 PM
Well, I could take a poll of those who think that someone who lectures others about "spewing hate" but doesn't even have the jewels to even sign his own comments and whines like a little bitch about being "silenced" when no one has done anything of the sort ... is, in fact, whining like a little bitch, and we could proceed from there.

Tough Chicago pol Obama threatens North Korea with 'firm protest with the UN'
President Barack Obama told his South Korean counterpart, Lee Myung-Bak, at the Group of 20 nations summit in London today he won’t allow North Korea to drive a wedge between them, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity. Obama praised Lee for exercising restraint in dealing with provocations from the North. Both leaders agreed to respond to the launch by registering a firm protest with the United Nations.

White House sends out sex chat number to journalists
WASHINGTON (AFP) - - Journalists based in the United States got a shock Thursday when they dialed a toll-free number to join a conference call with senior officials accompanying US President Barack Obama in London.
The number turned out to be a sex chat line inviting callers to use their credit card numbers.
"Do you have any hidden desires?" a sultry voiced woman asked.
"Well, do you feel like getting nasty? Then you came to the right place -- brought to you by the girls of Swank magazine," she said.
Reporters finally got through to the two officials in London -- National Security Advisor James Jones and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton -- when they gave up on the US "800" number and instead dialed an international number.
The White House did not offer an explanation when asked how it sent the wrong number in an email listing both numbers -- one for journalists in the United States and the other for those overseas.
"Lots of important issues to cover today!" Thomas Vietor, a White House spokesman, told AFP when asked about the mistake in a follow-up email.

Biden tries to take credit for Bush era money
Vice President Joe Biden brought a clear message to this tiny Eastern North Carolina town Wednesday: The federal recovery money isn’t just for big banks and auto companies.
Biden and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack announced a new wave of $10.4 billion in federal stimulus money for home loans across the country, and billions more for essential services in rural communities such as Pikeville, which is getting money for a new fire station. Biden used the outdated, current station as a backdrop. Pikeville is just north of Goldsboro in Wayne County.
“We’re investing in places like this all across the country,” Biden said, “to demonstrate the vital role towns like this play in the recovery.”
Most of the money for the station that was announced Wednesday, however, had been secured last year under the Bush administration, according to fire department officials.

Liberals have no courage to back up their beliefs. But then, the communists told them back in the fiftys and sixtys to NEVER defend their beliefs, only to attack the beliefs of others. We do have the communists agents' own records and testimony to proove that they guided you poor sops, so don't cry that you're being victimised; that's a tired old joke that's worn out it's welcome.
