New Developments at DHS
Now that the Department of Homeland Security is no longer concerned with the "man-caused disasters" inspired by the Religion of Peace, but with the dangerous ideas spread by the sort of right-wing extremists who turned out for the Tax Day Tea Parties, bureaucrats have signaled this new orientation by redesigning the DHS seal (via America Is an Obamation!):
Also, the color-coded threat levels have been updated:
Who says bloated bureaucracies can't move quickly to keep up with changing times?

One question, when will they burn the Reichstag building and blame it on the Tea Parties?

Hey give her some credit....she did help turn Arizona into "Little Mexico."

I thought I registered a complaint, but maybe not.
I object strongly to this mis-use and abuse of the common name for one of the most helpful sharers of the planet.
If it were not for bats, we would literally be eaten alive.
One bat in an hour does more good that DHS has since its founding.

Arizona dosent miss her at all.
Its a crack-up that she came here to look at the border and see whats going on. Like she couldnt have a grip on that when she was gov.??? What a fat POS.

Moonbats eat inter-planetary dust.
My favorite: Democrats in danger of losing elections!

Napolitano's use of Oklahoma City in 1995 certainly is an intriguing example of how US military veterans are supposedly some sort of threat to us all.
That bombing was a single event, staged almost 14 years ago- hasn't Al Qaida staged hundreds of attacks on US interests since then? Why so little mention of them since she was appointed three months ago- isn't keeping a lid on those medieval savages 80% of her job description? Isn't that why the Department of Homeland Security created in the first-place?
Apparently there is no bounds to what government assets Obama will prostitute for his own purposes, either... while neglecting daunting, actual threats in the meantime.
So all who wondered why Obama chose this obedient toady to head Homeland Security now have their answer: a serious choice who would have focused upon real terrorist threats -not imaginary, partisan ones- like, say, a Rudolph Giuliani, wouldn't have been a willing participant is such a sham report.

If Napolitano would agree to shave her head and wear only a black robe and live in a one room shack in northern Montana outside an Indian reservation if we our country is attacked on our soil by terrorists, I would think she would have more credibility. But instead, when we are attacked--and we will be--she will gather more power and make all kinds of martial rules and Congress will pass laws to allow her to really sock it to her enemies (the American people).

Her staement that US vets pose a threat to our homeland should have her tared and feather, run out of town!
She is the real enemy of the state!

ok this is where the moonbattery is just plain wrong - maybe you should practice using some of that common sense you love to talk about:
1. No ideological group is free from violent elements.
2. In the last couple of elections, the right just lost a LOT of power.
3. The right is much more upset about the government now then it was a few years ago.
It makes sense that the right violent idiots would be more passionate and active now that obama is in power.
Your own moonbat Timothy McVeigh should serve as a reminder to be vigilant towards the extremists on your own side.
Or you could just pretend they don't exist and it's only liberals that do bad things.

McVeigh, one incident, 14 years ago, the exception that proves the rule.

Today is the anniversary of the OKC bombing. Please remember the victims in your prayers.
I have never understood why McVeigh is somehow seen as "belonging" to the political right.
Granted, he started out Catholic and Republican, and was a decorated soldier, but then he went totally off the rails.
He would later say he was an agnostic, and that science was his only religion. He went totally anti-government and anti-establishment, and claimed to be a Libertarian. Before the bombing he was talking about killing judges and law enforcement officers.
He also embraced the "Waco Whackos", that whacked out fringe of hangers-on we used to see at gun shows and the like, who believed in the "Black Helicopters", and that the UN was going to invade America, etc. They were right about some of the things that happened at Ruby Ridge and Waco, but were wrong about just about everything else.
I don't see how you can call him Right or Left - that guy was just "out there".
If anything, he has more in common with today's Leftist "9/11 Truthers" and with Bill Ayers than with anyone on the Right.
