Still, it's disturbing that someone in a public position hasn't learned to consider their remarks carefully before speaking. Presumably, as head of DHS, she knows the history of the 9/11 terrorists frontwards and backwards, or she should if she doesn't already.

All who were left scratching their heads when Obama chose this obedient toady to head Homeland Security now can get a handle on it: a serious appointee, focused upon real terrorist threats (not imaginary, partisan ones i.e. the TEA parties) -like, say, a Rudolph Giuliani- wouldn’t have been a willing collaborator in a sham report trashing US vets for shameful political purposes.

Napolitano’s qualification for this job was purely being a liberal Obama sycophant… certainly not any skills, insight, or ability.

Her recent statements on Canadian border security illustrate how incompetent and puzzled she really is- completely lacking the credentials to be in charge of protecting our country from the likes of Al Qaida.

Trouble is, the narcissist Obama needs to be surrounded by mindless drones to confirm his omnipotence and pollyanna world view. But such appointments as Napolitano and Panetta to vital national security posts are a show of weakness that will surely encourage terrorists and other rogue characters who see America as their enemy- no matter how hard Barack tries to schmooze them.

Anyone who expected The One to place the nation’s practical defense interests above those of his own political security and radical agenda hasn’t looked too closely at how he got this far in the first place.

This is going to be interesting. The chance of a nation in a world full of enemies not being attacked when it throws away the assurance of reprisal and blinds itself to intelligence is so vanishingly small that it approaches zero. We will be attacked! Now that it has become fashionable to have show trials for members of previous administrations, there will be absolutely no reason not to have trials and hearings for Obama's people.

In a world of justice, there will be a time when Napolitano is on trial for stupidity, incompetence, and maybe even treason. It will be fun to watch her defense which will have to depend on her record of being so completely stupid that she didn't know or understand any aspect of her job.

Thus, she is even now building that defense of stupidity by making dumb statement after dumb statement. In that she is very successful--it is easy to believe that she really is very stupid.

There's no question that BO has set the groundwork for another major terrorist attack. After 9-11 Bush went after the Taliban with such fervor they had no time to rest, regroup or kill a woman. They were completely overwhelmed and routed by our military.
