What's Wrong With This Picture?
Here we see a woman who is at last proud of her country posing for a touching photo op, doling out free gourmet government cheese for the starving masses oppressed by capitalism:

As you can see, one of the downtrodden is commemorating the event by snapping a picture of BOO with his cell phone. He must have left his Nikon back at the refrigerator box.
Under Obamunism, even poverty is fake. But it won't be for long.
Hat tip: Michelle Malkin, on a tip from Burning Hot.

Not only did Mr. "I'm-Too-Sexy-For-This-Poverty" leave his Nikon back at his refrigerator box
Did anyone else happen to notice Thursday's starch du jour of mushroom risotto?
If this is "po' ", I wanna be "po' "

one other thing - does that tub of lard in the orange sweatshirt really NEED a free meal?
Posted by: nancz at March 9, 2009 8:09 AM
@1:
Nancz, I think those are supposed to be "Morning Glory Muffins" ...

You could put this picture on America's tombstone with no heading and anyone with a brain would instantly put 2 and 2 together.

Shoreline Mike:
You should know that the mushroom risotto DID NOT have truffle oil and the Merlot was at best 2nd rate.

So these people retain their dignity, they MUST be serving a nice cabernnet sauvignon. (Unless of course it's served with grilled chicken.) Something from Grigich Hills Cellars maybe. They make a wonderful cabernet that would be an excellent comlpliment to a slow cooked, mushroom risotto served with a grilled NY Strip and a baked potato. Of course starting it all with a good french onion soup.
I'm not sure what would be best for desert. (I've never been good at picking deserts.) Maybe just put out a desert buffet table.
This is America and nobody should have to live without a proper meal. Afterwards retiring to the parlor to watch high definition cable (or blue ray) on that wide screen plasma TV to unwind from a hard day of ? ? ?
We're rich and we should spread the wealth around to these poor unfortunate souls. She's doing God's work. Give her a break people.

Wild morel mushroom risotto - mmmmmm.
The age of Obama: Where the poor are not only fat, but they have camera cell phones too.

At first glance I thought this was a clip from the Star Wars bar scene...
That is Chewbacca's sister there at the bar isn't it??

The #1 health issue among the so-called "poor" in this country is...obesity! Most Americans have no concept of true poverty.

What do the Secret Service do in the background? Just stand around and stare...
I think it's very racist that the black woman is serving food while the white man is just standing behind her doing nothing.

Just turned on CNBC, and it appears that the DOW is also racist.

Andrea,
He has his finger on the trigger of a machine gun, any other obvious observations?

BJD:
I believe that they were not serving a NY strip but rather filet. In order to politically correct and not insult the religion of peace, the filet was not wrapped in bacon. (Plus, we all know the pork is in DC.)

Honestly...
It isn't hard at all to get free cell phones. People throw them out all the time. You can sign up for a prepaid plan and just not put any money on it.

The thing in the orange sweatshirt (M? F?) doesn't appear to have missed too many meals.

Homeless shelters( rightly or not) often provide free cell phones to those they regard as their more" viable residents".
It enables them to have a phone number that prospective employers can reach them on and a way for their non homeless relatives to keep tabs on them.
Under such circumstances, having a cell phone proves nothing regarding about their being destitute.

Ray,
Who pays for the phones?

The Secret Service guy is bending every whichway to restrain himself from using his machine gun on the person he's there to protect.

Supermodel! vogue...

Ray,
I agree that handsets are available cheap, but if this guy got his hands on a second hand phone or somehow got one "free", he still needs to come up with a minimum $40-$50 per month to pay for service. That would be more for data service if he transmits images.
I do agree that the cell phone is one of the last things I'd get rid of if I hit the skids, but it would have to go if it got to the point where I was accepting handouts from strangers, from Chewbacca or from the State.

We are a long way from Oliver Twist. Would that be arugula by Michelle's left hand?
