Sinking, Sinking
The honeymoon is going to be a short one:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 37% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-two percent (32%) now Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of +5 (see trends).
On January 22, Dear Leader was +30.
This precipitous slide comes despite the overwhelming support of the media and a massive wave of politically correct hype that still hasn't receded. By the 2010 elections, Chairman Zero will be far into the negative, and there's not much the media can do about it. Maybe the government had better bail out Rasmussen to prevent the polls from becoming embarrassing.

And even WaPo has a story saying that the AIG bonusgate has "depleted Obama's political capital." Deplete, as in zilch, zippo, nada. So that, WaPo continued, would prevent him from pushing through other things on his "agenda." Agenda, what a sinister word.
Don't know if anyone saw my other post, but Pelosi has an index of neg. 22, and Reid has a neg. 38. Pretty pathetic, huh?

But, Spurwing, Zero is not the type to go down with a ship, like, say, an honorable and courageous captain. He will throw any and all under the bus to (try to) maintain power. Not a sustainable strategy. Actually, makings of a Shakespearean tragedy.

Get your point, but Shakeperean tragedy involves a good man with a flaw, or overcome with events, this doesn't describe the President.
However, it brings this to mind
