For one, the rockets are NOT "ridiculously ineffective," they are highly lethal and destructive. The reason so few Israelis are hurt or killed is because they have bomb shelters and highly effective warning systems - Sderot residents have about 15 seconds to get into a bomb shelter when the siren goes. The rockets do a large amount of damage to infrastructure costing Israel millions, not to mention the millions more economic activity foregone because the entire town is pinned down under rocket fire a dozen times a day. Imagine if you were in a bullet proof car, and I was standing outside firing shot after shot at your windows, yelling about how my deity will punish you for your perceived injustices against me. That may be
'ineffective' as far as actually achieving your death. But no-one with a brain would ask you why you were 'bent out of shape' about it.
