Profiles in Countermoonbattery: Angie Harmon
We can add another beauty to the countermoonbat lineup. Here's what actress and model Angie Harmon has to say about the racism defense Obamunists use to squelch criticism:
If I have anything to say against Obama it's not because I'm a racist, it's because I don't like what he's doing as President and anybody should be able to feel that way, but what I find now is that if you say anything against him you're called a racist. But it has nothing to do with it, I don’t care what color he is. I’m just not crazy about what he's doing and I heard all about this, and he’s gonna do that and change and change, so okay … I'm still dressing for a recession over here buddy and we've got unemployment at an all-time high and that was his number one thing and that's the thing I really don't appreciate. If I'm going to disagree with my President, that doesn't make me a racist. If I was to disagree with W, that doesn't make me racist. It has nothing to do with it, it is ridiculous.
On the moonbat media's double standard:
I also think if W or John McCain or Reagan would have gone and done a talk show, the backlash would have been so huge and in his face, and "What is our president doing? How unclassy!" But Obama does it and no one says anything.
On Sarah Palin and the despicable campaign of character assassination waged against her by spittle-spewing moonbats unworthy to buckle her snowmobile boot:
I admire any kind of woman like her. My whole motto is to know what I stand for and know what I don't stand for and have the courage to live my life accordingly and she does exactly that. The fact that this woman has made the decisions she's made and literally lived her life according to that and takes heat for it is absolutely disgusting to me. People cannot look at this woman. I really think they're afraid of her and her morals, ethics and values and the fact that she hangs on them. Is she the most experienced person in the world? But she was running to be the Vice President, so we then put the most inexperienced person as the President. That didn't make any sense to me.
Risking a black-balling by turning down the Kool-Aid in militantly liberal Tinseltown takes some guts. Angie Harmon is living by her motto.

On a tip from Eric.

Angie's appealing to reason and logic, which is to a leftist what Inuktitut is to an average Ugandan.

If you criticize Sarah Palin, you're obviously a sexist pigdog hater and 'worse than Hitler'.
Posted by: Shooter1001 at March 31, 2009 9:55 AM
I wish she and other conservatives in Hollywood would speak up more! Elizabeth on "The View" takes regular beatings for being a (good looking) Conservative woman.

Criticizing Sarah Palin is one thing, but the vicious and relentless smear campaign by the left crosses the line to obsessed and diseased. OK, you don't like Sarah Palin. We get it already!
It's a shame that we have to congratulate someone for having the courage to use her brain, and to hold to her beliefs, yet that is what we find ourselves doing here. Like Sarah Palin, Angie Harmon may find herself facing a backlash for daring to speak out against the "Chosen One". Also like Sarah Palin, Angie Harmon says, "Bring it on!" I know nothing of her politics, nor does it really matter at present. What does matter is that she stood up, took a look around, and discovered that there was a fundamental disconnect between the way we are told things are (by the lefty media, which is to say most of it) vs. what her brain told her should be true. Many people don't do this simple exercise - 52% of America, apparently, and in Angie's current environment it has got to be more like 90%, but she not only did so, she stood up and said so. Thank you, Angie, for not being afraid to speak to reason.

Jaw. Dropping. Gorg... er... Brilliant.
Of note, though: mayhaps dear Peggy Noonan should be removed from that famous poster? It's hard to tell whether she's a conservative anymore.

There's nothing more attractive than a strong, smart, courageous, beautiful woman.
Hey, Angie and our dear Sarah have a lot in common.
Posted by: single stack at March 31, 2009 11:36 AM
Sounds like the beautiful Angie is a reader of "Liberty & Tyranny," and tunes in to the Great One, Mark Levin, Esq., author of same.
Regardless, it damn sure does take courage (the real thing) to swim upstream against the current of idiotic Liberalism as espoused and promoted by the Obambi administration, the pathetic MSM and the bought-and-paid-for (so-called) "representative" bodies we have to represent and protect our values and views. Unlike the nit-wits Sean Penn (Wow! Is he brave to go along with 99% of the other morons in Hollywood!), Danny Glover, Harry Belafonte, et al., she displays genuine courage!
Hey, drones! How's that "hope" and "change" thing working out for ya'll? Ready for putt-putt automobiles, gas at $5.00 (soon, $10.00) a gallon, no heat in your homes, no A-C in the summer, no food in your fridge, no toilets in your bathrooms, no running water? No freedom, no liberty, no nothing? Coming soon to a formerly great country near you -- Enjoy!

Assistant District Attorney Abigail 'Abbie' Carmichael was always my favorite character on Law & Order. So much easier on the eyes on than Fred Thompson

Her father is part native American, her mother Greek. Her daughters have Faith, Hope and Grace in their names.
One of my most enduring memories of 10/11 is a burly man emerging from dust and rubble, covered in cuts, defiantly looking at the camera and saying, "Still here, guys."
With women like this, and there are more, we're still here.

Ever notice that conservative ladies are drop dead beautiful and smart? Liberal women are fat harry cave bitches that are very stupid. You go Angie...I love you and your morals.

WOW!!!
I think I figured out why they are so hated. I think these pant suited, stupid, and ugly women are jealous.
Maybe if Helen Thomas had said that, it would be different.
WOW!!!
She needs a spot on the Conservative woman vs liberal woman poster.

If Ms. Harmon is dressing for a recession maybe it's because her husband is an out of work football player and she's hasn't had a steady acting gig since Law and Order. Her last series got cancled and that has nothing to do with Obama. She shouldn't blame him, she should blame her lack of acting skills. She's like her idol Palin, thought she could get buy on her looks and it didn't work out.
As far as beautiful liberal women go, how's Halle Berry, Julia Roberts, Scarlette Johansssen, Selma Hayak, Faith Hill and just about every other hot woman in Hollywood and the music industry? I saw the McCain/Palin rallies so don't even go there with which party has uglier women. Every man knew that the hot chicks were at the Obama rallies. You know the raliies that looked like ALL of America and not just a narrow portion?

"On Sarah Palin and the despicable campaign of character assassination waged against her by spittle-spewing moonbats unworthy to buckle her snowmobile boot"
"unworthy" this sounds as messianic and fawning and reverential as any other lefty smitten with Obama. Who even wants to be a boot buckler anyway?
"spittle-spewing" and despicable, hmmm, so where does Bernie Madoff or those who TORTURED people in the past admin fall on that scale?
This woman comes across as brave but not particularly smart. For instance she seems to have trouble defending herself from charges of racism that rightly should perhaps just be ignored. But I don't make assumptions about her based only on this small sample of her opinions.
She talks about classy, but then it was Sarah Palin that is giving an interviews while turkey's are slaughtered in the background? How is doing a talk show less classy than that?

We get it, Cave Ahht. You hate Sarah Palin. Strong, independent women make you spontaneously wet yourself. Successful, attractive women infuriate you because they're out of your league. Fortunately, for you, you can go running to Janeane Garofalo. She will never make you feel like less of a man.

Angie did a funny commercial for Victorias Secret a few years ago. The theme was their return policy. So it showed her getting a tiny little thong, and exchanging it for a copy pair of flannel pjs. So, sense of humor!!
Sorry its not a political comment. Love her guts and disagree with about 90% of Sarah's views, but would rather be her friend than unhinged moonbats anyday.

Sorry I meant "cozy" pair.

Nice over-the-internet psychoanalysis of my personal life V the K. Are you a superhero with special powers?
The pure HATE on this site is so much more, you simply have no leg to stand on calling me a hater. Focus on your man Van Helsing and the spittle-spitting rants of Spurwig Plover if you want to help your movement help itself.
Posted by: cave ahht at April 1, 2009 6:09 PM
Once again I ask, Cave ahht... Why do you keep coming back if you hate this site so much?
