Paul Harvey, RIP
Radio legend Paul Harvey died at age 90 Saturday. No one will ever replace him.
Now for the rest of the story. From Clinton-era commentary by Harvey entitled "If I Were the Devil":
I would gain control of the most powerful nation in the world; … I would convince people that character is not an issue when it comes to leadership; I would make it legal to take the life of unborn babies; … I would cheapen human life as much as possible so that the life of animals are valued more than human beings; … I would take God out of the schools, where even the mention of His name was grounds for a lawsuit; … I would get control of the media, so that every night I could pollute the mind of every family member for my agenda; I would attack the family, the backbone of any nation; I would make divorce acceptable and easy, even fashionable. If the family crumbles, so does the nation; I would compel people to express their most depraved fantasies on canvas and movie screens, and I would call it art; I would convince the world that people are born homosexuals, and that their lifestyles should be accepted and marveled; I would convince the people that right and wrong are determined by a few who call themselves authorities and refer to their agenda as politically correct; I would persuade people that the church is irrelevant and out of date, and the Bible is for the naive; … I guess I would leave things pretty much the way they are.
In short, if he were the Devil, he would engulf the world in moonbattery. Unfortunately we now have one fewer countermoonbat to keep the Devil at bay.

I used to be in radio and we would run Paul's programs three times a day. His pregnant pauses were awful for us lowly board operators trying to time when to start a local commercial, but they were oh so effective for the listeners. The guy knew how to write and to make a point.

Fascinating, I've never heard of him.
so, um, thanks for mentioning him here. May he rest in peace.
It says that his son did much of the research and writing for "the rest of the story" and that his wife was his longtime producer, whom he credited for her influence. She was the first producer ever to be inducted into the radio hall of fame in 1997. She died in May 2008, may she also rest in peace.

Today is the first monday without Mr.Harvey.
I cant remember radio without him.
Waaaay back in grade school I "found" him and was instantly a fan. I once taped the rest of the story and took it in for "show and tell". I played it so much the batteries went dead and when the time came it was unrecognizable as a news cast.
I'm shure Angel and him are happy together again,and we are richer for knowing him.

I forgot to mention that Israeli troops butchered more innocent Palestinians than Palestinians Israelis.
This sort of asymmetrical violence cannot be considered moral or ethical by anyone. Anyone who calls them selves pro life yet supports this wholesale massacre is a hypocrite, to be perfectly blunt about it.
That the US supports these monsters, well that is truly the helping the devil rule the world.

ONE, those stats come from Pallies, known liers in the cause of propiganda.
TWO, the Pallies, like all muslims and Liberals, care not for casualties, they care only for "THE CAUSE".
THREE, we have repetedly answered the accusation of the inequalty of civilian casualties and that answer is that the Pallies use their civilians for protection.
FOUR, if someone attacks you, you DO NOT hit him with "equal force", that would only PROLONG THE WAR; you hit him hard enough to make war HATEFUL to him. And if your enemy was HUMAN, he would try to minimise his casualties instead of giving them rocket and rifles and encouraging CHILDREN to shoot at "JOOOOS".
FIVE, the Israelis have honored EVERY cease-fire. The Pallies have violated every one.
