Iranian Woman Gets Her Eye For An Eye
Ameneh Bahrami, a 31-year-old Iranian woman has won her case. Now, true “eye for an eye” justice awaits a man who blinded her with acid after she turned down his proposal of marriage.
An Iranian judge has granted her request to return the favor.
A Tehran province criminal court has ordered Majid Movahedi to be blinded in both eyes from drops of acid in accordance with his victim’s wishes.

“Day of Silence”–”Day of Gay Seduction” April 17, 2009
Moments of silence are a time-honored tribute to honor the memories of notables who have contributed in some way to the well-being of society. Sometimes those moments have afforded occasion for people to reflect on their memories of American heroes, loved ones, fellow workers or fellow students who have died and who will be missed. Recently, sometimes moments, or days, of silence have been instituted to promote concerted efforts to seduce children.
Such is the promotion of the National Day of Silence scheduled for Friday, April 17th, 2009 in Massachusetts schools and probably in other schools in America.
What’s being promoted? Well, it’s not an effort to get kids to strive and to study harder to help assure their future success in these trying times. It’s not an effort to promote students’ sense of patriotism nor an effort to get them to go to church and resolve to be better people and to dedicate themselves and their sacred honor to altruism and principled lives.
The planned National Day of Silence is intended to get children to make nice to homosexuals, to accept as normal the practice of homosexuality and to give deep thought during that day toward adopting that sick lifestyle.
The Day of Silence, DOS, website, http://www.dayofsilence.org/index.cfm, doesn’t precisely express its aims that way. Rather, it says that it seeks to draw “attention” to “anti-LGBT [lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgendered] name-calling, bullying and harassment in schools.” It redundantly adds that its purpose is “to address the problem of anti-LGBT behavior” via its growing network of “hundreds of thousands of students,” which network has been in development for some twenty years.
What’s more than curious is that this group has chosen silence rather than discussion as its method of propagating its viewpoint. It would seem that if “anti-LGBT behavior” is such an overriding issue, in schools or elsewhere, it would be most proper and beneficial to air the nature of that behavior, to expose it to the clear light of day and allow for the interchange of differing ideas and points of view.
But that’s not the plan.
What is also curious at best is the acquiescence of any school administration and any teaching personnel in such Days of Silence, thereby condoning and fostering the actions of homosexuals.. . .

O'Reilly facing tough love from advertisers.
From UPS:
Thank you for sending an e-mail expressing concern about UPS advertising during the Bill O’Reilly show on FOX News. We do consider such comments as we review ad placement decisions which involve a variety of news, entertainment and sports programming. At this time, we have no plans to continue advertising during this show.
Susan Rosenberg, spokeswoman for UPS, previously issued this statement (3/26/09):
UPS values and takes seriously the comments from personal emailers and those posted on your site regarding advertising that appeared on Bill O’Reilly’s FOX News show. We are sensitive to the type of television programming where our messages and presence are associated and continually review choices to affect future decisions. Further investigation is underway related to this placement.

Reality is intervening rapidly. In an act of self-preservation, the NYT ran three critical Op-Eds last weekend... and even asked him on AF-1 if he's "a socialist". In response, Obama feigned surprise and even called back to ask them if they were "joking"... then ignored them in the next presser to call on far-left bloggers and Ebony magazine instead.
And the failed UK bond auctions and calls for an international reserve currency are bringing reality to Obama's Bolshevik spending fantasies... hopefully the American public will now sense that not only do we not have the money, but nobody is willing to loan it to us, either.
Zogby already has him at 50% approval... and tanking.
Next... bring on the tea parties!

As poorly qualified as I am to punish Mr. Cave Ahht for his supercilious cop-outs, I hope you will bear with me while I begin this sincere and earnest attempt.
And please don't get mad with me if, in doing so, I must speak up and speak out against Mr. Ahht. In the text that follows, when I quote from Mr. Ahht, I will use the word "excrement" in place of another word which is now apparently permitted in general circulation publications and which I have edited out.
His claims all stem from one, simple, faulty premise—that women are crazed Pavlovian sex-dogs who will salivate at any object even remotely phallic in shape.
Yes, this will become even more obvious in the years just ahead, but here is the point that is worth considering: Mr. Ahht doesn't want me to rake him over the coals for destroying our moral fiber. Well, I've never been a very obedient dog so I intend not only to do exactly that but also to address a number of important issues and encourage others to do the same.
Thus, in summing up, we can establish the following: 1) I, for one, am appalled by the vast generalizations in Mr. Cave Ahht's claim that the federal government should take more and more of our hard-earned money and more and more of our hard-won rights, and 2) nothing makes my blood boil more than seeing him distort the facts.

We live in a busy and tempestuous world and, indisputably, all too interesting times. Some headlines, however, give cause for reflective amusement.
“Canada Says Will Defend Its Arctic.” http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=CNG.92e661444313b232e8931de00c29c73b.3a1&show_article=1.
Canada, that huge but mostly inhospitable and uninhabitable country to America’s north, is in a dither. Torn between its quest to be taken seriously as a member of the community of nations and its requisite reliance on the United States for its survival, it is now threatened by the Russian Bear that Governor Palin can see from her porch.
Resurging Russia, of late deflated by oil prices in its own quest to regain its status as a world power, is eyeballing the Arctic as a source of almost limitless natural resources, principally oil and gas reserves. Made accessible thanks to the natural and cyclical effects of selective global warming and ice melt, those resources have now become a point of contention between the Bear and the Canucks.
Bravely, Canada, which has always been a staunch American ally but which has gotten testy of late as it evolves into a European-style socialist state. . .
“Police Identify 200 Children As Potential Terrorists,” http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/police-identify-200-children-as-potential-terrorists-1656027.html.
Britainistan, that island nation in Western Eurabia, is waking up to the Islamic threat to its autonomy and security. Long a favorite for emigres from Muslim nations, as are Francistan, Hollandistan, and Germanistan, Brits have been aware of that threat for years but are still bending over sideways to mollify resident Islamists despite that awareness.
“Sir Norman Bettison, the chief constable of West Yorkshire Police and Britain’s most senior officer in charge of terror prevention” revealed that “Two hundred schoolchildren in Britain, some as young as 13, have been identified as potential terrorists by a police scheme that aims to spot youngsters who are ‘vulnerable’ to Islamic radicalisation.”
Considering the Muslim upheavals that are becoming almost commonplace throughout Eurabia and Britainistan, including the burning of the Brit flag, abusing troops returning from war, and 8 Muslims now on trial for attempting to blow up trans-Atlantic air flights, that was pretty bodacious of Sir Norman to say.
Also, considering the intimidation factor of some 2 million, unhappy, restless, mostly poor . . .
“Connecticut School Bans Physical Contact,” http://wcbstv.com/local/school.bans.hugs.2.969949.html.
In a classic and typical overreaction by public school administrators, Connecticut’s East Shore Middle School Principal Catherine Williams has declared in a letter to parents that a “no touching” policy has been instituted for her students. School personnel have observed kids ”kicking others in the groin area, grabbing and touching of others in personal areas, hugging and horseplay.” To counter this untoward behavior, “Physical contact is prohibited to keep all students safe in the learning environment.”
On the surface, such a policy is commendable. Beneath that surface, it’s beyond the pale.
Parents are understandably outraged, not because they want their kids kicked in their privates or like the idea of their daughters, or sons, willingly engaging in intimate activity and/or being the victims of uninvited intimate behaviors in school, but because the no-touch policy would outlaw innocent hugs and high-fives and general “goofing around. . .”

Readers may recall the recent scandal in formerly Great Britain that wasn’t considered much of a scandal by the individuals involved. I refer to the matter of young Alfie Patten, the Sussex lad who believed he had impregnated his neighbor, Chantelle Steadman, when he was all of 12 and she an apparently quite promiscuous 14. See here for all the lurid details: http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=837
The waifish Alfie and the unlikely object of his lust both contended he was the daddy of Baby Maisie but then competitor teen lotharios popped out of the woodwork. . .

MELBOURNE–The birthplace of the now global phenomenon Earth Hour kicked off in Australia with thousands of people gathered in Melbourne for a concert powered by bicycles as some of the city's famous landmarks dimmed for an hour.
Across the country, lights were turned off from Sydney's Harbour Bridge and Opera House to the Parliament House in New South Wales.
But the largest event in Australia this year was in Melbourne where thousands of people gathered at Federation Square to listen in the dark to a concert. All week, school children and corporate teams have been cycling at 16 bikes set up in the city's square to generate enough energy for the Earth Hour concert.

Obama judicial nominee: Prayers to Jesus unconstitutional, but prayers to Allah okay!
True to his campaign promises, President Barack Hussein Obama has picked a rabid judicial activist as his first federal court pick. Judge David Hamilton has been chosen by Obama to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.

Biden thanks Spain's PM for help with Iraq (that is, pulling out all Spanish troops)
MAN, BIDEN IS A GAFFE WITH LEGS: during his meeting with Spain’s prime minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero in Chile yesterday, Biden thanked Zapatero for his effort... in Iraq (link in Spanish, haven’t found this detail in any English-language media).
As everybody knows, the first decision Zapatero made after his unexpected win in 2004, right after the Madrid train terrorist attacks, was to abruptly and unilaterally pull out from Iraq. So either Biden made a gaffe, or he was thanking Zapatero for angering Bush...

Obama will save world from human CO2 that makes up 3.4% of 3.62% of 2% of the atmosphere
Out of the entire atmospheric makeup, only one to two percent is made up of greenhouse gases with the majority being nitrogen (about 78 percent) and oxygen (about 21 percent). Of that two percent, “planet-killing” carbon dioxide comprises only 3.62 percent while water vapor encompasses 95 percent. And of the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, humans cause only 3.4 percent of annual CO2 emissions. What does this all boil down to? As shown by the accompanying graph, not very much.

Obama's townhall questioners are all Obama supporters
But while the online question portion of the White House town hall was open to any member of the public with an Internet connection, the five fully identified questioners called on randomly by the president in the East Room were anything but a diverse lot. They included: a member of the pro-Obama Service Employees International Union, a member of the Democratic National Committee who campaigned for Obama among Hispanics during the primary; a former Democratic candidate for Virginia state delegate who endorsed Obama last fall in an op-ed in the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star; and a Virginia businessman who was a donor to Obama's campaign in 2008.
