Adventures in the Socialist State: I am a landlady, and one of my tenants ran into a spot of trouble when she and her fiance were both laid off. They just presented me with paperwork I've got to wade through from some guvmint entity called JCDSS, in order to get free ponies for rent, or whatever the program is. Contained therein is the biggest collection of nosy, snoopy busybody questions you've ever seen. I half expect to have to answer to their sexual proclivities.
Dear lurking moonbats, be careful what you wish for. There is truly no such thing as a free lunch. My tenant also told us that even obtaining said paperwork was a Herculean task, and burnt up many gallons of gas going to and from their office. Imagine healthcare.

Hialeah, Florida abortion mill owner, Belkis Gonzalez, was all in a dither.
A customer/client, teenager Sycloria Williams, 23 weeks pregnant, delivered a baby sitting in a chair in Gonzalez’ mill, apparently after Gonzalez had botched aborting Williams’ baby.
What to do?
Well, our new president set the standard, no? After all, he voted, twice, as an Illinois state senator to just let babies die if they happened to survive a screwed up abortion. And, he had voted in the U.S. Senate in favor of partial birth abortions whereby full-term babies could have their lives terminated and their bodies dissected piece by piece.
(Please see http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=803 for background on the Hialeah “incident” and http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=787 for an extended piece on your president–not mine–and why your president–not mine endorses the literal murder of defenseless infants. His rationale? “Well, look, if the mother-to-be decided she instead wanted to kill her baby, who are we to disagree? Trash the damned baby!”)
What else could Gonzalez do? Defy her president’s wishes? Act contrary to her president’s philosophy? Preserve human life?
Gasp, of course not.
So, according to the mother-to-be who decided she didn’t want to be a mother but now is suing poor Gonzalez, Gonzalez “knocked the infant off the chair where she had given birth, and then scooped the baby, placenta and afterbirth into a red plastic biohazard bag, and threw it out.” http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/breakingnews/sfl-bn-0304miami-doctor,0,900628.story.
Why all the fuss then? Gonzalez merely accomplished what she, Sycloria, set out to do, namely to kill her baby. Maybe that beastly Gonzalez should have baptized the infant, first? Maybe Gonzalez should have called Obama to insure she was doing the right thing according to his wishes? Maybe Gonzalez should have prayed to do the right thing?
Nah, Gonzalez did none of the above. Rather, she treated that blob of human tissue which had grown into a 23 week old baby as garbage.
Is Gonzalez repentent? Why would she be? Her president would smile and approve.

Rush challenges Obama to a teleprompterless debate
POLITICO reported Wednesday on the Democratic effort to portray Limbaugh as the leader of the Republicans, an effort carried out by high-profile Democratic strategists like James Carville and Paul Begala. Top White House officials, including chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, have joined in, and a senior White House aide is helping to guide the Limbaugh strategy, Politico reported.
Limbaugh equated the effort to the “enemies list” once maintained by former President Richard Nixon. “This is being led from the White House. There is an orchestrated attack, daily drumbeat on me from the White House,” Limbaugh said.
“Your flunkies are demanding this debate,” Limbaugh said to Obama. “Your flunkies are targeting a private citizen with an enemies list that so far has three or four names on it: Mine; [CNBC’s] Rick Santelli; Jim Cramer at CNBC; and let's not forget Joe the Plumber, who your allies in Ohio also tried to destroy.”
“The difference is that Joe the Plumber does not have his own microphone every day. They're shutting Santelli up at CNBC. They're going to shut Cramer up pretty soon, too, but he'll go down with a fight,” Limbaugh said. “That isn't going to happen here, to me.”
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs conceded Wednesday that engaging media personalities like Limbaugh and Santelli “may be counterproductive.”

In today's press briefing, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was asked about McGurn's article and Obama's opposition to school choice. He was not able to muster a coherent response:
QUESTION: On education, there's a provision in the omnibus spending bill that would sunset the D.C. voucher plan. And I'm wondering -- there's been a lot of publicity about this brother and sister pair at Sidwell who use their voucher money to -- to pay for tuition at the same school the president chose to send his children. I'm wondering if you could restate the president's opposition to the D.C. voucher plan and why he's...
(CROSSTALK)
GIBBS: Yes, I -- I would -- let me go -- I've not read the article today, if there was one. I think the...
QUESTION: Well, it's just about two kids who use their voucher money to go to Sidwell. I mean...
GIBBS: Right. I mean, I think -- right.
QUESTION: I mean -- I mean, and they would -- in other words, if they cut the voucher program, they couldn't go there.
GIBBS: Why are you even providing me the opportunity to be the middleman? I mean, again...
QUESTION: Well, could you just restate the president's position?
GIBBS: Well, I think the president has concerns about -- concerns about taking large amounts of funding out of the system to -- to address this, that the president obviously believes -- and I think you'll hear him talk about and has talked about -- the need for reform in our educational system, but -- but has not agreed with the program in the past. I'll see if there's anything to update on that.
Of course, it's hard to answer a question when you can't tell the truth. Gibbs couldn't very well say that President Obama and the Democratic Party are in the bag for the teachers' unions and don't much care what happens to inner-city kids. Could he?

We Are Known by the Enemies We Keep
I must beg the forbearance of regular readers here, and on other websites where I post my very insightful articles, for yet another piece having to do with homosexuals in America (use the search feature for the eponymous series here) and the closely-related topic of homosexuality in America.
On the one hand, the topic is getting old after having written about it countless times on this blogsite.
On the other, once we get inured to the topic, totally blase’ concerning its import on our lives and, mainly, on our children, then they will have won and we will have lost this struggle, this very consequential and literal battle for the souls, minds, and bodies of those kids. And, make no mistake, it is indeed a struggle in which the other side shows no signs of surrender.
So, like Michael Corleone, when I think I can get out, the topic keeps dragging me back in and, before I am accused of instigating this war, let us first establish that neither I nor we started this fire as can be seen in my multiple, preceding articles.
The lines have been clearly drawn in this war. Massed on one side are the considerable forces of the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgenders lobby, now known as the LGBT, formerly known by the generic title, homosexuals. They have been emboldened and encouraged to push their agenda by America’s love of the concept of unrestricted freedom for all, to the detriment of the rest of us.
Not quite massed, since we lack the organizational structure and unanimity of purpose of the LGBT even if we are more massive in numbers, are the rest of us, the heterosexual world, the “straights.”
The lack of cohesion on the straight side is most probably attributable to a lack of awareness on the part of many that a struggle even exists, which is the chief tactical advantage of the LGBTs. If you don’t know you’re in a fight, how can you reasonably be expected to fight back?
Some, however, are well aware not only of the battle in progress but of the consequences of losing.
One stalwart organization that has engaged the battle head on is the consistent defender of normality and oft-cited here, MassResistance.com, but there are others, many others, on the ramparts. They are not only Catholic groups or orthodox Jews or the much-maligned Christian “born againers,” those oddballs mainly from the much-maligned “red states” of America.
As a philosophical red-stater residing in one of the bluest of all 50 states, New York, I don’t mesh well with the Hillarys, the Schumers, the Pattersons of my state, and I wear that distinction as a badge of honor. But, I digress.
As previous articles here have illustrated, there is more than sufficient recent evidence that a homosexual/LGBT vs. straight/normal war is going on but this particular evidence just came to my light. It probably didn’t just come to light for citizens of Michigan since it dates all the way back to a year ago.
Should anyone have the inclination and the time, this 60 minute video titled, . . .

Watching, please calm down so that you can continue your letters and calls in a coherent manner. I personally have never in my life written so many government officials as in the last 4 months. I don't just bitch on blogs. It's frustrating, because one of my senators is Upchuck Schumer, and I know he doesn't give a s*it about what I say. I keep saying it though.
