Look Who's Running the Country
Congresswoman Corrine Brown (D-FL) conducts the people's business, as our economy circles the drain:
Our government is officially a farce.

At least our Oklahoma representatives can read and form subject/verb continuity.

House Passes Volunteerism Bill Critics Call Pricey, Forced Service
WASHINGTON -- The House of Representatives passed a measure Wednesday that supporters are calling the most sweeping reform of nationally-backed volunteer programs since AmeriCorps. But some opponents are strongly criticizing the legislation, calling it expensive indoctrination and forced advocacy.
The Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act, known as the GIVE Act -- sponsored by Reps. Carolyn McCarthy, D-N.Y, and George Miller, D-Calif. -- was approved by a 321-105 vote and now goes to the Senate.
The legislation, slated to cost $6 billion over five years

Who let the crazy homeless woman in the orange bathrobe ramble in Congress?
Posted by: Anonymous at March 18, 2009 9:21 PM
Ah, pandering to the base... I was really surprised when I first learned how much of that went on in Congress.
What you don't see is the reverse angle that would show she's talking to an empty room; nearly everyone is working in committees. She's just reading into the Congressional Record.
Posted by: Anonymous at March 18, 2009 9:39 PM
I don't think she saw the game.

Hey look at it this way, as long as she's up their stumbling over her teams acheivments, that's three minutes that they can't be raising our taxes and encroaching on our personal liberties. In fact, I think that ALL congressmen should be required to read into the Congressional record the name and a brief bio of every college all American from their states and of all high school championship teams from all divisions. This ought to chew up about 95% of the annual legislative sessions leaving 5% of the session for congressional pay and perk enhancements. My wallet feels better already.

OMG
And she will get full congressional wages for life while the rest of us who actually CONTRIBUTE to society will live on the dwindling Social Security that nitwits like her want to take away and give to other non-contributors like herself in the form of reparations.
Makes you want to revolt, huh?
F*ck socialist liberals and the g*damn donkey they rode in on.
This inept bitch is everything they stand for, and demonstrates their average IQ. Yet they pretend to rule. We are f*cking DOOMED.
But don't worry, boys and girls - go watch 'American Idol' and pay no attention to the IDIOTS behind the curtain who are draining your life-blood.

She can't read. If she was a grad of Florida then she sure is an embarassment to their academtics.

Waste of space and air. I'm officially dumber having only watched 23 seconds of that pathetic spectacle.
I feel sorry for the stenographer. He or she must leave work everyday bleeding from the ears and drooling helplessly.
How do people get elected to public office without having even a modicum of intelligence? Wait, why did I even ask that?
Posted by: cowlove at March 19, 2009 9:06 AM
I live in this woman's district - what a friggin nightmare dumbass flake - it is TRUE that this POS keeps getting re-elected OVER AND OVER & it is true that she is "on the take" big-time, for anything - she gets all those juicy suite football tix to every big game free from all the biz owners in Jacksonville. Fat whore is so embarrassing. What a stupid douche.
