Life Imitates TV Science Fiction
I always knew the UN was run by space cadets…
Can all the world's problems be solved by watching Sci Fi Channel? The United Nations apparently thinks that's a good place to start, and will host a Battlestar Galactica retrospective and panel discussion on Tuesday to shed light on how the Emmy-winning show has handled such issues as human rights and reconciliation, terrorism, faith, children and warfare, and dialogue among civilizations.
To put the UN's latest farce even farther out of this world, the panel will be moderated by vulgar left-wing comedienne Whoopi Goldberg, whose experience consists of whipping moonbat housewives into mindless frenzies on The View by demanding reverence for abortion, equating resistance to illegal immigration and terrorism with Naziism, and proclaiming that the right of blacks to vote is provisional.
Maybe our money would be better spent if we just paid UN bureauweenies to stay home and watch TV.

in battlestar, they also made abortion illegal to help preserve the human race. i'm sure that should piss off liberals.

The great irony of this one is that, if anything, I always thought the tone and plots of this show reflected something a "neo-con" approach to the "War on Terror". If our leaders actually acted like the leaders on this TV show, liberals would be aghast.
The U.N. really is as clueless as it can be.
