John Gibson's Blueblogapalooza
The moonbat blogs are still at it, screeching in hebephrenic outrage at the existence of Dick Cheney, as dramatized on John Gibson's radio show:
Hat tip: The Conservative Dominion, on a tip from Gregory of Yardale.

These people need to get a new schtick, because Bush and Cheney have been out of office for 2 freaking months, which is like forever in the political news cycle. I was watching Bill Maher a bit last night and he's still cracking Palin jokes...zzzzzz. Something that we've all suspected (that many liberals have psychological disorders where they need to blame all their problems on a bogeyman) seems to be very true.

This is a good example of why I'm not a libertarian. In a country where you had a reasonably sane and responsible population, like the US originally had, I'd be all for it. But do you seriously want to let f*ck-wits like these off of their leashes?
Posted by: Rob Banks at March 21, 2009 10:40 AM
Why do Liberals have such potty mouths? Is that a part of the overall chemical imbalance?
Posted by: Oiao at March 21, 2009 11:37 AM
Van Helsing, While you and I certainly disagree on,well, nearly everything. I do, however want to offer a compliment to you...you do put in a admirable effort here. I felt the need to address this post because, again I disagree w/you and John Amato is someone I know and respect. It is painfully clear that our country is a mess right now, and it did not start a couple of days ago. This effort has been collectivlely brought to life in the last 30 years. I would like to know from you, what to do you propose on the issues facing Americans today? I really do not wish to hear from your commenters, but you. Our founders truly, and bravely knew that our country could not be destroyed from the outside. I will assume that you admire Ronald Reagan? I beleive he was an incredible leader. No matter how I dislike the policies he supported, politically he led, and the assasination attempt and his survival was a victory in his legacy. Does Barack Obama not deserve more than 60 days? We spin issue after issue here, or for that, anywhere. But what do we accomplish? You and I are not brain dead, illiterate, or making the tryouts for the Special Olympics...that was a joke on the poor taste joke Barack Obama made. Let's get real here, you are well studied, many of your fans are not, and well...
Posted by: Kyle at March 21, 2009 11:47 AM
Kyle, do you mean the same Barak Obama who is vacationing at Camp David on a long weekend, instead of trying to lead the country during this grave time of need?
ROFLMAO
A even moderately qualified Obama would get the benefit of the doubt, but he is proving him self not to be the moderate he ran as, or even remotely qualified.

These Liberal idiots have been trying to destroy this country for decades, but now that they are suceeding, they can't believe it's happening! They know that something has gone wrong to wreck the good life they have enjoyed, but they can't connect it with their love of socialism and desire to be like Europe.
I couldn't listen to more than two thirds of that audio, but one thing that sticks in my mind was the woman saying "how DARE they" talk about the Donkeys blocking banking legislation. Yeah, how DARE they point out that the Liberals prevented legislation that could have avoided, or at least lessened, the current disaster!
PS:
The characature of "Cheney" above is a re-hash of a Nixon picture from the seventies. Same anti-American propiganda, diffrent names.

Remember DICK CHEANYS hunting accedent and those pukeface liberal journalists were like on afeeding frenzie no wonder the american public is so disgusted with these miserble liberal journlaists THEY ALL ARE SCREWBALL SUCK HEADS

Heh! That liberal ranting reminds me of the clip from the Exorcist you posted earlier.

I am sure Kyle is between periods in the Maple Leafs game! I am actually. Van Helsing? Nothin'? Your commenters certainly cannot bring it, other than Sean Hannity talking points. I stated the obvious above, let's find a conclusion. And for those of you wanting to go after Amato?!I dare you
Posted by: Huh? at March 21, 2009 5:37 PM
Yikes. I'd rather just read a transcript. I could only listen to about two minutes of that. I hadn't heard of Amato, or Crooks And Liars; nor have I studied Ptolemaic astonomy, even though you can accurately predict eclipses using a geocentric model.

"Huh? at March 21, 2009 5:37 PM"
So all YOU can do is echo the hate and accusations in the clip. How about some PROOF?
Liberals/communists never offer proof.

Oh no, I for one, am frightened. Someone hold me.

Kyle, it seems like lefties have gone through two distinct phases:
1. We won! Now you will bow to us.
2. Uhm, hey guys, it's all about working together, can't we all agree we want our country to be great again?
The reason the lefties have gone from triumphalism to unseemly begging is because Obama is a lightweight who has no business being president, and it's becoming more and more obvious. Would lefties agree with that? No, not verbally. But deep down, they know the country is rejecting this fraudulent media-created bullshitter. And so, having ejaculated all over themselves from November to January, the sad reality is settling in that there will be no "Yes we can!" without the support of the American people. Soon, they will move on to phase 3.
3. Despondency
Despondency will settle in when the lefties finally process that neither triumphant Yes-we-can-ism nor begging will get an ounce of cooperation or goodwill from conservatives.
Put plainly, anyone on the right or in the center or even center-left is disgusted with what is going on, the wholesale reinvention of our proud individualistic, freedom-loving country into a nanny-state 'social democracy'. People are waking up; what they're getting is not what they thought they were voting for.
Triumphalism to begging to despondency. We are currently in Phase 2. By around the summer, we will be in Phase 3 and Obama's approval index will be aroud -8. Right now it is at 4, down from 30.

My god. What an irretrievable corpse.

mega,
Very well stated. My complements to you.

They should do this everyday. They'd be able to fill 3 hours with Moonbattery from DemocraticUnderground, Daily Kos, even from MyBarackObama! lol
Thanks for putting me up again, VH.

If these people (loosely used term) weren't so sick this stuff would be hilarious. The extreme failure of their messiah just makes them worse and they even take THAT out on us. Just can't make them happy....they ARE the party of the happily miserable!
Posted by: TED at March 21, 2009 11:14 PM
Winning just isn't enough for some people. Ad infinitum attacks on assorted bogeymen, folk villians, and pop culture personages provide the continuing feeling that they are the "oppressed underdogs of the righteous".
I suppose that the thing they really can't stand is the fact that they can no longer lay legitimate claim to the title of "VICTIM".
They won. They got what they wanted. Now they're going to become increasingly resentful about it.
Should be fun to watch.

Mega, I agree. I think some of the desperation of the left is captured in the faux outrage over the AIG bonuses (which Congress and the Teleprompter Administration approved before passing an unconstitutional Bill of Attainder to take them back). The media and the Democrats desperately need a distraction from the scandals of Congress and the Dear Teleprompter's incompetence.

Nixon, of course that's how Maher is reacting. That smug, bigoted, cynical, hate- filled jackass isn't happy unless he's spewing out hatred against conservatives, especially conservatives that are Christians.

What a bunch of wining little babies. It has been two months since the President took office. Was the economy suppose to be turned around on the evening of Nov. 4th? Were you guys bitching like this when Bush was in Crawford and the shoe lady came down and said "Sir we may have a problem".And this regurtitating nonsense of "Socialism" "Communist" and "it's the liberals", I ask you, define the three of them
Posted by: Kyle at March 22, 2009 8:45 AM
Kyle,
First off I think you meant "whining little babies". Apart from your spelling inadequacies methinks you can’t differentiate between “whining” and “snickering at”. Yes, we’re having a whale of a time laughing at you and your ilk.
Posted by: Steve at March 22, 2009 10:04 AM
Kyle, whining? Are you KIDDING me? We are gleefully watching the slow motion destruction of the nanny staters' dream of capturing our country and turning it inside out to pursue their narcissistic, 60's hippie projects. All hopes and dreams of those hippies were invested with Obama, and he is flailing and failing. No conservative could be anything but psyched.
As to your definitions:
Communism: When the state owns everything and you go to the Gulag for criticizing it.
Socialism: A slightly gentler version, where the state owns most of the stuff, and you only go to the Gulag for critizing Moslems, blacks, and gays. You can criticize the state all you want.
Liberals: Misguided do-gooders who genuinely believe that either of the above would be preferable to everybody living in freedom, protecting their families, and deciding what's best for themselves.
Posted by: mega at March 22, 2009 10:38 AM
Simply stated, the socialist belief system is that markets are bad because they result in the inequality of outcomes, and, therefore, the government must have power over the markets.
That is the precise mentality of Obama, Reid, and Pelosi.
