Weren't gays buying Quisnos sandwiches before the ads?

Look, I've seen a few ads where the people MIGHT have been gay, but it didn't make one iota of diffrence in selling the product! This is just some idiot trying to be "edgy", but it's way past the "getting old" stage and is now approaching "BORING AS HELL"!

I've seen the commercial several times and not once did it occur to me that it had gay connotations. I think it's just a parody of the HAL computer in the movie 2001. Unfortunately, most of today's TV audience is too young and cinematically illiterate to get the reference.
There's plenty of subtle gay propaganda out there, but I don't think the Quiznos commercial is an example of it.
