Anybody out there have an actual list of the guns that the Liberal Dem Powers That Be would like to ban?

Terribly amusing. Had never heard that Ghandi quote. Good one!

Ultimately, most of them want to ban anything where a projectile is sent out the muzzle via a chemical reaction initiated by a human action. Anybody want to elaborate?

Rebecca Peters, gun-grabber extraordinaire, once suggested that any rifle capable of shooting a projectile more than 100 yards should be banned as a "sniper rifle." Of course, every rifle ever made could shoot 100 yards, so every rifle would be banned.

I guess I mis-queried that one, though I liked the answers. What I meant was, what's on the hit list in the latest federal assault weapon ban?

Something along the lines of this on the Assualt Weapons Ban. (Note - HR-45 being passed in conjunction with this really means anything down to a .177 pellet rifle or larger than a .410 shotgun).

Frames or receivers for the above are included, along with conversion kits.

Attorney General gets carte blanche to ban guns at will:

Under the proposal, the U.S. Attorney General can add any "semiautomatic rifle or
shotgun originally designed for military or law enforcement use, or a firearm based
on the design of such a firearm, that is not particularly suitable for sporting purposes,
as determined by the Attorney General."
