Government Demands Power to Absorb Major Corporations at Will
Posted by Dave Blount at March 25, 2009 8:20 AM
As our country rapidly transitions into fascism on its way to communism, the government is seizing alarming new powers with every passing day. Once Americans would have taken up arms to stop outrages like this:
The Obama administration on Tuesday mounted a full-scale push for government authority to shut down troubled institutions like insurer AIG to avoid the need for future bailouts.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, testifying before lawmakers still fuming about big bonuses for executives at bailout recipient AIG, called on Congress for new powers to take over big non-bank financial firms that run amok.
You almost have to admire the nerve of the incompetent tax cheat Geithner calling for still more authoritarian powers, as well as the cleverness of our neo-Marxist rulers' strategy. They buy AIG with 100s of $billions stolen from us, then exploit the company to demonize the tattered remnants of capitalism. In the future, any companies that compete with quasi-government operations like AIG, Fanny Mae, Freddie Mac, etc., or that fail to give generously to the terminal cancer known as the Democrat Party, will be summarily expropriated for the good of the People; that is, to spare us the expense of the government buying them with our money.
On a tip from SK.
