Foreign Terrorists Are No Longer "Enemy Combatants"
The latest Obama strategy to combat the Islamic terrorists who are no doubt busily working away at plans to pull off another catastrophic terror attack in the US is to do away with the term "enemy combatant."
Even among the Taliban, only 5% are "incorrigible" terrorists, according to Obama's foreign policy expert. Why should we alienate them with such an abusive term? From now on, Khalid Sheik Mohammed et al. will be known as Misunderstood Oppressed Freedom Fighters, or MOFFs.

We cannot use the terms "War on Terror" or "Enhanced Interrogation" either (not kidding). We don't want to hurt their feelings. Anything to buy a vote. No matter how many of us they kill.

We all know that supreme leader 0bama will also remove the term "terrorist" from our vocabulary as well, thus removing the entire terrrorist threat.

Actually, The term 'enemy combatants' applies only to uniformed government conscripted individuals, as per the Geneva convention. This is part of the reason they were kept in gitmo. If they had been designated as 'enemy combatants', they would be afforded the rights under the convention, because they were NOT uniformed, working for the govt., and didn't have a descernable chain of command (rank), they could be classified as spies, or sabateurs, and shot on sight. Bush in his compunction for appeasing the left, boarded them at gitmo to quiet the fires.
